Thanks, we have found an issue in the updater, and we are working on it. So for now you could either manually upgrade, or just wait until we solve it and update works again. There is not much changed in this build.

No, there is an actual problem with our updater. We are looking into it, we will get back to you when we have found the cause.

The updater has been rewritten to work with img.gz, and that part works, so not sure what failed here, but we'll look into it.

MaDeMaNN: img.gz is now available on the download page: downloads – LibreELEC
karcyon: what build are you on, and what version?

Can you describe a little better and perhaps share the script here so we can see what you are trying to do?
Just censor sensitive information. -
Essentially, yes. But there is also /flash/ which could have something like custom splash or edited bootsettings, which this wouldn't "reset". I don't know if wetek builds have anything special like this or not.

Thanks, you won't see Kodi 17 just yet. But I think milhouse is preparing to start doing community builds with kodi 17 in the very near future. So look out and you might stumble upon devel builds sooner rather then later.

At this time we do not have any img.gz files for wetek. They are coming soon, but we have a lot of work ahead of us, so exactly when I cannot promise.
For now, updating from OE 6.95.1 (7 Beta1) should work just fine. Then you can do a fresh install when we have images at hand. -
True, there is already one, but it's not processed to work with LE yet.
Not sure what need's fixing but it does not currently work. For those who want to fiddle it can be found under the unofficial add-on repo, which can be installed from the official repo.
When it's fixed and working it will be moved to the official repo.

It's for both, but you can use the official alpha now: downloads – LibreELEC

For a fresh install you need this .img: LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-7.0-Milhouse-20160324154422-#0324-ga0c0b80.img.gz
Then you can use OE's guide, it's essentially the same. We haven't gotten time to fix wiki for guides yet.

That's what I like to hear. We don't like ads either. As long as we can float the hosting costs and so on from sponsors and donations there will be no annoying ads popping up randomly.
