It takes no effort to add support, simply enable CONFIG_CEPH_FS in the kernel.
How do I enable that? Is the CONFIG_CEPH_FS a boot time option?
Or do I need to spin my own kernel?

Would it be possible to add support for CephFS in the same way as NFS and CIFS?
Our data is on CephFS and atm. we need to handle redundancy of playback data via NFS on a KeepaliveD virtual IP.
However, usually the devices seem to have problems switching seamlessly active NFS server when the virtual IP changes (via KeepaliveD)
Native CephFS support would solve this.Cheers,
