Has anyone else noticed
No sound with 801L or 801L-MM
On my Minix Neo U1 with LE 8.0.1l everything is fine, no problem with sound, try to update again and move the correct dtb to update folder.

I tested the newest LE 8.0.1l and 8.0.1l-mm builds, I can't decided easily but for me the build with Nougat kernel is better on Minix Neo U1.
No freezes on my Minix Neo U1, try again.
I found a new developer build: LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-devel-20170508.tar
Maybe kszaq will help you to resolve that issue.
Hi
after more testing, I don't get a single skip frame (visually, and using 'CodecInfo) and power control works fine on my M8S II
This is my new daily driver, thanks for this build !
Same result on Minix Neo U1, no frame skipping, only one file doesn't work properly, VC-1/29,97 mkv. Very usefull build for daily use. Thanks blinkmxq, kszaq!
Install 12j.img.gz and start your device and then move .tar file into the update folder and reboot, that's all.
Thank you for the sample. I have a fix for this, will be included in my next build.
Thank you for the samples. I'll see what I can do.
I've tested all these samples and works great on Neo U1 with the latest 8.0.1f build, no issues.

Hi, 8.0.1f tests (MXV+ S905 1G 1Gbit):
Audio stereo files - All files with all sample rates are OK and bit perfect - Thanks! Please keep this changes in your future versions...All files with all sample rates are OK - Perfect!
Video files:
- Dolby THD is not working
- DTS HDMA - OK
- 4k High bitrate video plays has problem and DDTHD doesn't play (as above) - sample file "jellyfish-140-mbps-4k-uhd-hevc-10bit.mkv"
- 4k video plays jerky - sample file "Samsung_UHD_7Wonders_of_the_World_Italy.mkv"
- Hi bitrate 29,970fps BD rip plays jerky - sample file "Peter_Gabriel_BDRip_Test.m2ts"
All sample files play smoothly and without problem with 8.0.1d version. "Problems" are from "e" version.Thank you very much!
Dolby THD works fine for me, tested with different samples without any issues.
Peter Gabriel sample plays fine, no problems, in the first second was another frame rate switch but after everything is fine, HW acceleration enabled and "always".
It's not "full" Nougat kernel, only some parts ported. No dtb update needed.
Test build to try before I leave: 8.0-devel
Okay, thanks.
What's new in this developer build?
Updating from "a, b, c" to d or e you need to copy the dtb file too in the update folder because the newest builds is with Nougat kernel or try other dtb.
How to change from LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.1d to LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.1d-temp_sensor_disabled and from gxbb_p200_1G_100M.dtb to gxbb_p200_1G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb without losing data?
Simple update, copy files into the update folder and reboot.
I was just curious what the difference was between the build with the temp sensor disabled and the regular build ? I just chose the 1st one (temp sensor disabled) and it seems to work without any problems.
Only the temp. sensor is the difference, you can use the normal (with temp. sensor enabled) build, works great, you can see the CPU temp.
OK, I will test it again. Thanks.
No need, The problem was fixed with the new 1c ver.
I understand but in the latest "c" build too much fps skips compared to the first "c".
Maybe a little misunderstanding. I think the problem is not transferring PCM data over HDMI, but converting none Passthrough formats to PCM. like flac, acc, etc..
Can you share with me a sample to test because my samples with multichannel flac works great.
Thanks.
Hmm... I installed the "c" update a few hours ago and multichannel PCM seems to be working.I only tested the samples I found at the Kodi samples page (LPCM 5.1 & 7.1)
Same here, with the first 8.0.1c everything was fine, Multi CH was good but I've tried the latest "c" and now I have too many skips, back to the previous "c" build.
Use 8.0.1a instead of 8.0.1b because the latest is experimental with Nougat kernel, maybe the next build will be better.
