Nexbox A95X S905 1gb / 8gb , I had the same problem with the 44000hz live streams with bad audio and video judder trying to sync with the audio.

Again i tried to repeat the update by copying the files LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0.2.008.img.gz along with new .008 device tree (gxbb_p200_1G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb) But after the update installed the issue was not fixed.

The only way to fix the issue was to install the .008 new device tree MANUALLY.

In my case i copied the dtb.img into the backup directory/folder and issued the following dd command
    dd if=/storage/backup/dtb.img of=/dev/dtb bs=256k

    Rebooted and issue was fixed.

I now believe a lot of people are not aware that the NEW .008 device tree has not installed using the current instructions for updating.

I know this is the case for 3 different boxes all running LE from internal memory. If you encounter issues try and install device tree manually
to see if issue is solved.

    Hi,

I did exactly as you recommended:

For burning the SD I used OSX, so I got everything right and it worked.

Only Problem I have, I can't copy the dtb.img for S905 on to the SD, because its not accessable when I put the SD in the Macbook.

    pls advise

    Okay !
My mind reading skills are getting better but they are not 100%
You used Mac OSX to burn image to SD card and it worked ? Worked how ?
Can't copy device tree because your sd card wont mount ?
Is your card named BOOT on your desktop ?
What did you use to burn the image in OSX ? You say I got everything right and it worked.
I use Mac OSX and can help you if we can get on the same planet. :)
Give me exact steps you have taken.

I wouldn't be using the 'dd' method if you're not familiar with using linux, also last time I used it, it didn't update the devel version correctly....
For windows users you want to use putty to ssh into your box......linux ssh is built in

I use Mac and SSH using Terminal. Never had any issues installing except when my command was incorrect so i am very careful.

Of course :exclamation: you have to connect to the box through ssh and then going in the directory in which you have copied the dtb so:

    Code
cd backup #or cd Backup i don't remember if it has uppercase
    dd if=nameofdtb of=/dev/dtb bs=265k

nameofdtb is the name of the dtb file that you have downloaded for example if you downloaded "gxbb_p200_1G_100M.dtb" put if=gxbb_p200_1G_100M.dtb or simply rename it as you like

Whoah. Kind of got it. Worked it out. Below.
    LibreELEC (community) Version: 7.0.2.008LibreELEC:~ # dd if=/storage/backup/dtb.img of=/dev/dtb bs=256k0+1 records in0+1 records out38311 bytes (37.4KB) copied, 0.047250 seconds, 791.8KB/s

    Guess What ? It worked.
    44000_Hz live streaming Working.

So something has gone amiss with the device tree loading during update.

2 Once update following your update instruction audio was Not fine as kostaman also said.

I have just had the issue with MiniMx g or whatever this thing is known by. S905 2gb/16gb. All black no Beelink branding.

I had the same stuttering BUT i put the files a second time into UPDATE folder and rebooted .
Now 48000hz streams work. No idea what is going on here,
I tried doing the same thing with the MiniM8sPro S905 BUT that didn't fix it.
I will try your method and report back.

kostaman @anthonex Do you have LE installed on internal memory?

    Yes

i have tried the latest version with my 95x nexbox and it still won't go off of the nexbox splash screen when trying to boot... I have also tried changing dtb file to the one in the device tree then it boots to an error screen about debugger started. anyone else have this problem

    Did you read this #22

I think you should because we have no idea what chip you have and no idea of your ram.

What exactly is your issue? Audio stuttering? You have used a device tree downloaded from 7.0.2.008 folder, right?

Audio Stuttering ? "YES" which causes video to not play smoothly like it is trying to sync with the badly stuttering Audio.
    7.0.2.008 device tree folder "YES"
I only made the point that i updated back to .007 after i realised the naming of the dtb file was wrong. I thought that was what caused the issue with the Audio stuttering. So i updated with the .008 device tree named correctly along with .008 LE but it did not fix it.
Sorry for confusion. I just wanted to let you know exact steps. Cheers.

Have you updated your device tree as instructed?

    "Yes" I did.
I must confess i copied pasted the dtb.imb
then realised what i had done so went back to .007 and played the stream and it played perfect.
Then i used the new device tree ( gxbb_p200_2G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb) naming it dtb.img and updated with
LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0.2.008.img and the dtb.img via .update folder reboot.
    No good with the 48000Hz
Apologies if i am being too precise with what i did but it is for the NEW GUYS to read.

Guys will this work for A95X 2 GB version or still have to use the devel folder ? I am using the last build

I know you are new but why are you quoting the last guys HUGE SHOT of his screenshot. If everyone does this we will end up with pages of the same picture.

Now did you read the opening post of this release ?

Download img.gz file and burn it to SD card/USB drive:

S905X: At the moment there are 2 device trees available: p212_1g and p212_2g. Choose one according to your RAM amount.

You are using LE SD Card right.? You have the S905X chip ? A model means nothing when talking about these chinese clones.

Tell us what you are afraid of trying. You have 2gb of ram so what is the issue.

S905 can manage 720p, but also not 1080p.

The MXQ s805 has this problem when i picked up on it 3 to 4 weeks ago.
Using .05 it used hardware to play h265 10 bit. It pixelated and was un watchable.
It can play h265 1080p , but 10 bit is the issue.
The s905 can play h265 10 bit 1080p using hardware.
No big deal but i just posted it as i thought it may play with changelog details.
    Cheers.

Excuse me for the dumb question, but is it possible to update OTA? In the LibreELEC settings there is a section for checking for updates. What is that about?

With all these device trees for all different Boxes , i wouldn't count on it being implemented.
The factory supported boxes which are all the same model with identical hardware and firmware would
    be easy to do.
So that is what it is all about. :)

the Internet IS connected (we have an IP address) but we can't seem to get any speed at all. He has tried Ethernet and Wifi. Both the same. I can try to get more information. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be going on?

Ask him what current date the box is displaying. If it reads January 1970 , he is not connected.
Ask him for the ip address. If it is something strange instead of starting with 192.168.?.? his router has not given him a proper ip.
I hope he hasn't played around with DHCP settings with his router.
Pull the ethernet cable out first and connect wireless. Go to LE Configurations , Look under connections and see what network he is connected to and if the notification "state" says "ready" and the "Type" reads "dhcp"
Do the same analysis with ethernet.
Reboot the router before all this. And i always advise to log into router and renew all dhcp ip addresses when this sort of thing happens.
This will eliminate all possible issues with his router network and then at least after all this you will know it may be a bug with the box.

Analog Audio now works. HDMI setup.

Suspend used in power saving settings with the following results.

Using the red remote button turns the box “OFF” not suspend.
Pressing red button on remote the box boots up Boot animation then LE splash etc.

I then used my power option menu and chose “Suspend”, the box turned “OFF”
Pressing red button on remote the box boots up Boot animation then LE splash etc.

I then used my power option menu and chose “Power Off”, the box turned “OFF”.
Pressing the red button after using “Power Off” in my power option menu the box does not respond. It refuses to turn back on.

Added : Just realised that the ethernet is always alive even when box "Powers Off"
I call it power off in my case because that is what it does. No Suspend.

    Hello all,

I buy Beelink MiniMX III. It will arrive next week. Before broke something, need I backup something?

Or installing by SD could be safe?

    Thanks and regards.

Working SD Card LE first. If that works you can SSH execute installtointernal command to install to Nand.
I think kszaq might do away with .zip to install to nand and we will all use above method.

The development version has an option to configure Power button behaviour in Kodi menu (Settings -> System -> Power saving). You probably want to set it to "Suspend" as some boxes have trouble waking up by remote control from "Power off".

Just to confirm that this Particular Box "Powers Off" via remote.
Using the .005 version it "Wakes Up" after power off.
Using Power Menu and choosing Suspend , The box Powers Off not Suspend. (.005)

Using the Development Build I tried the suspend option from my "Power Menu" and it Powered Off.
    Doesn't seem to have Suspend.

Okay ! Installed Development Build again.
I set the Settings -> System -> Power saving "Suspend"
Used remote to what i thought would Suspend the box. Hit remote to turn it back on
and it did respond by turning on.
BUT it had not suspended it had turned off and booted up with boot-logo etc.
So the theory of not waking from off is probably not what this box is doing.

Analog audio no longer works I have to switch to S/PDIF to get any sound from my TV

Same issue. Analogue no sound at all. GUI sound nothing.
