Now that is established is there any advice please?
Please try this : Do a Fresh Install without using any device tree except the one that is already in the there after you burn the .img (fresh install only)
To be clear, Just burn the .img to sd card. That is it.

The chip is the most important spec followed by ram amount and ethernet speed.
Just take it on board that this is what happens with limited disclosure of spec details.
Nexbox a95x B7N 2gb/16gb. is still not disclosing your chip. Nexbox has released their new S905X chip box naming it the same name as the previous box "A95X" . MiniM8sPro is another of these chinese boxes which have done the same thing. :s
No joy with the gxbb dtbs - wouldnt even boot from the USB stick.
If you want help , learn to name your box with full details like , NEXBOX A95X B7N S905X 2GB/8GB.
That is your box. Don't just shortcut the details.

What part of this did you follow? Take the time to understand and ask for help on what you don't understand before going off installing without really understanding the instructions.

Well. i havent had any noticable a/v sync issues before the latest dev build, but with that version no matter what i play, it takes only a second to see that this build is unusable for me.
All still tested on am MiniM8s and MiniMx, btw.

Where did you get the device tree ? I am hoping it was from device_trees
Trace your steps on how you got to the Dev Build. From .007 to update you had to use .008 Device tree.
I am just trying to eliminate the device tree being the cause.

I am not getting any Audio / Video Sync problems AT ALL.
I have streamed live and played my library video files both SD & HD including MKV , AVI , H265, H264, etc
I cannot reproduce issues reported by some using this version.
I run HDMI from box to TV.
Tested Nexbox A95X S905 1gb / 8gb (Internal Memory)

All plays good as above . So that is 2 Boxes working with Dev Build.
As i have Beelink Mini MXIII, Nexbox N95X (with S905) and another Mini M8S 2G, i'd like to test your build first on Mini MXIII.
Which version/build is the most stable one for Mini MXIII.
SD Card Installation is imperative to test and make sure everything works before installing to internal memory if that is what you intend on doing.

Hmmm, I'll try the Realtek WiFi variant with 008, although I don't use WiFi so I didn't think it would matter. Yes, I used the gxbb_p200_2G_100M.dtb from 008.I run HDMI to TV, then optical out to a soundbar. The crackling happened with passthrough both enabled and disabled.
My opinion is you should not chop and change device trees when one has been tested and works for your box.
It just introduces another variable into the issues.
As for the sound using sound bar with optical, I don't have the same setup.
Pretty important to disclose your audio setup when posting a sound issue. :s
Could you take a picture of your video and sound settings? Maybe there is a difference.

Anyone else having trouble with audio on the M8S Pro T95N? I've tried the gxbb_p200_2G_100M.dtb device tree but get crackling indecipherable audio. Going back to .007 and the gxbb_p200_2G_t95n_2g.dtb tree fixes the audio.Should I be using a different dtb? I can post a bug report later when I'm home.
This is the correct device tree using .008 and dev versions after that.

I have no issues. I run a straight HDMI to my TV so i hope we are talking the same thing/

And OTG Port worked with this tree in Jarvis .008 ?
i use last librelec Jarvis .008 and wifi works

Unless afl1 introduces wifi module in update, you will not get wifi.
You might want to advise which device tree you used in Jarvis .008 that worked with wifi.
It will help in making sure it is the wifi module missing or the wrong device tree you are using.
Less tired, more cohesive: The file plays fine on S805 Libreelec, Libreelec x86 8.0 (Nvidia ION) and on Kodi/Windows 10 - all with hardware decoding. I could not get S905 Libreelec to play it, so I must have been mistaken that it worked on a specific version. I tried 008-fix, both 20161018 devel and the 20161023 devel versions on the wetek hub.
Just tried that file via USB and played fine.
Tested Nexbox A95X S905 1gb / 8gb

Missing wifi driver is the issue.
If this is your only box beware that Krypton is very "BETA".
Did you ever run this box with kszaq Jarvis .008 Version ?
Don't downgrade by using Jarvis .008 via .update folder smb. Too many file system changes.
Fresh install is my advice.
have a minix neo u1 and i tested your librelec. all i need works fine but wifi not.

Any ideas regarding the reset / boot to recovery for this box as holding the switch behind the AV port while powering on seems to do nothing?

What is the equivalent for mxq_pro_4k at version 7.0.2.008?
If you haven't needed to use the realtek wifi tree in previous version i think the above device tree should be fine.
When i was asked about third party addons i thought i was asked if it was crashing when using one of them not by just been installed in the system...I will try again with a clean install of LibreELEC with just the library files from the NAS...

I can be honest with you and say that i learnt a long time ago that some of these add-ons caused my boxes to freeze as they run in the background with some seriously bad code.
I know of 3 add-ons you have installed which are definitely causing you grief but please don't ask which ones.
Anyway, lets call it a learning curve and hopefully members will read this post and get the message.
No hard feelings. You are free to load your box with whatever you want.
Just remember though , logs with banned add-ons will be ignored.
