From now on issues with the Nexbox A95X should have the chip S905 or S905X confirmed when posting.
This is so important as it can cause wrongful instructions for fixes or comparison in behaviour.

kszaq this may or may not assist you but i have the old trusty s805 to compare live streams and the behaviour of the s905 compared to the s805 when looking at the buffering issue.

If you install ALPHA Player from official Kodi Repo you can test using Live option in the player which you will see the S905 locks with just a picture/video
due to Buffering.  EDIT: For some reason it came good. I give up. It happened continuously after i plugged in the s805 which did not do it and then mysteriously the s905 started to work again.
This does not happen with the s805 when it buffers. The s805 Buffers and then commences playing normally. Version.005

Make sure you have formatted the sd card fat32 then make uboot.
If it still does same thing Just put the recovery image on sd card and get into recovery.
Then put the files on sd card and choose update.

That member KyleRiemen has a Nexbox MXQ Pro s905 1GB/8GB not an A95X 1GB/8GB.
Have i missed something obvious ? It wouldn't be the first time.
I cannot find newer firmware for the A95X than the version i have.

Memory leaks are being addressed and worked on with every new release.
Big improvement with the Dev Build link i have given you.
Make sure you use the .009 device tree for your box.

If you wish to Jump in minutes whilst playing a movie with chapters you can use the "right arrow on the remote wheel" and press QUICKLY until you see 30 second increments on OSD. Pressing the right arrow immediately after first press increases the forward in 30 second increments eg: 30 , 1 minute, 1.30 minutes. You have to press continuously to see the increments rise as options. As soon as you stop pressing the right arrow the movie will jump that increment and not before.
This is not easy to explain but it works perfect with no freezes.

I also have that movie and what I noticed it that when you zap through chapters video sometimes freezes but if you wait a few seconds it starts working again. I think decoder needs to be fed with video packets to start working properly and it has to stay that way.

Everybody else can also test this build for a/v sync of buffering issues.

A95X S905 1GB/8GB
Fixed freezing on "The Grand Budapest Hotel".
There are 32 Chapters in my movie file. Seek 10 minutes takes me to the next chapter not 10 minutes as .009 version. Corrected .009 did not jump 10 Minutes. It jumped to next Chapter.
I stopped movie and then restarted from around 25 minutes where i previously stopped and it worked fast.
I then activated mouse cursor on my remote , pulled up OSD and pointed mouse to a forward point on progress bar clicked ok and movie jumped 20 minutes with no problem. Fast resumed movie immediately.

Unzip and copy it to config files folder. Reboot.
