I'm also interested in S812-H build of libreElec

I am too chicken to try this over the holidays on my primary media player. I did reach out to Xtreamer, but they would not confirm. As far as I understand, the WonderPro can not boot off a USB stick but would need to be switched into Android recovery mode which would then automatically flash the image on the USB stick. There is a good chance that this could brick the device.
If only we could have the Xtreamer sources of their openELEC build - I could have tried to convert them into LibreElec, which is the only way to go, considering incredible degree of crappiness delivered by Xtreamer as part of their build...

I noticed that the Wetek Core seems to have the same "base" specs as the WonderPro:CodeWeTek core: CPU: AMLogic S812-H Quad-core up to 2.0 GHz / GPU: Octa-core Mali-450MP WonderPro : Quad Core Amlogic S812-H (w/ Dolby+DTS) Cortex-A9 up to 2.0GHz-H / 8 Core Mali-450
I will try tonight if the image actually boots up and works.
I'm eager to hear news about this^

Thank you all, friends!
This little off-top helped me a lot

Hub has the newer S905-H chipset which is considerably better than the older MX chip in the WeTek Play v1. WeTek Play v2 uses exactly the same S905-H chip as the Hub but has more RAM and a Tuner card.If you want something rock solid with LE the Raspberry Pi v3 is probably the best supported and most stable device, but it sadly doesn't have 4k/HEVC capabilities.
Does ODROID-C2 look like a nice competitor versus both, Play 2 and Pi 3, or is it just me ? :s

I use wetek play with no problems at all. With LibreELEC on top?
"Wetek Play" has more power, compared to "Hub", right?

Not possible (without an immense amount of pre-testing) and there are no official images for S812 devices. You might find something suitable in the Amlogic community section of the forum though. If it's a crappy device, it might be time to swap it out for something better.Totally agree, mate. This device has been giving me hard time ever since I've got it.
I know it's an off-top, but can you please suggest me some other device, which has a great LibreELEC support, and built-in WiFi antenna (for network sharing purposes) ?

Hi, folks. I've got this crappy device Xtreamer Wonder, based on "Amlogic S812-H".
Now, the question is - can I migrate to LibreELEC without actually building dedicated version of this firmware from source?
Like, installing some kind of "delta", arch independent patch, to convert existing installation of OpenELEC into LibreELEC.
Is it possible?
P.S. - Xtreamer Wonder - Specs
