I have similar device (S905) and use a remote with a USB receiver. It doesn't switch on or resume fron USB.

I think that the problem is in the board, it have no power in USB when it is power off or suspended.

Someone with more info could confirm it?

It will be great to resume from USB. Someone could try to resuke with a keyboard in Android? I have no Android installed.

    Best regards.

Hmmm, thanks that's disappointing, I'll try with android over the weekend.

    Maintenance release:
    7.0.3.1 7.0.3.1

    Commits from 7.0.2.7 to 7.0.3.1: Comparing 7.0.2.7...7.0.3.1 · kszaq/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub

    Changelog:

    • improved a/v sync and buffering patch
    • backported a few memory leak patches from Krypton
    • added a few fixes from SPMC
    • added an option to copy user data when installing to internal memory
    • reverted AP6212 because of connectivity issues with updated firmware
    • reverted Ethernet driver to be loaded as a module to fix MAC address regression
    • maybe something I don't remember

Thanks, working fine on my MK808B Plus.

Hi I have a A95X (S905X, 2G/16GB) with RF Keyboard with a USB adapter, it works fine but obviously this box has no on switch and I can't seem to wake it with USB when powering off so I'm having to turn it off and back on at the wall which I don't like doing. I know android has suspend, does Libreelec have this and would it let a usb/rf keyboard wake the box to power back on? I don't want to have to use a separate remote just to turn it on each time.

    Thanks.

Just booted the latest dev build on my new A95X S905X 2GB/16GB, took under 5 mins to burn the SD card and boot from it, running like an absolute dream, really pleased. I couldn't find a change log but I remember reading about a few issues with 009 so I went with the dev build and a device tree from 009. All working well.

    Thanks again.

Amlogic audio is sort of a mess at the moment. Add on top of that Kodi's incredibly convoluted audio system and you have a real dumpster fire. That being said, LE devs are making steady progress and I'm seeing improvements regularly.

    My results are:
    - Without passthrough you can only get either stereo output or multichannel missing center and LFE. Kodi's Audio DSP won't help you.
    - With passthrough you CAN get all formats (including AAC encoded to DD 5.1!) if you hold your lips just right and the trade winds are favorable.

For now, learn to love stereo and Pro Logic.

Same here on an x96 2/16 box. Extremely irritating but sorry to say I'm glad to finally see someone else reporting it as I was beginning to think I might have a hardware defect!

See this post. Look familiar? LibreELEC

What's the trick for AAC and Passthrough as I'm having issues getting any sound. I changed the channels to 2.0 but then I just get stereo and obviously it's not ideal.

michael123 For MK808B+ you should use MXQ image, it works well - tested on my MK808B+.

Great thanks, the MXQ image has worked perfectly first time, I'm not sure if maybe the MK808B+ 7.0.2.5 image is corrupt or something because I tried 10+ times with that and nothing, anyway all sorted thanks!

I've just testing LibreElec on my MK808B+ before I buy a few new S905X based boxes, looking good so far!

This is awesome, it plays DVD's off my usb dvd drive! Brill.

Do you have a donation link?

There doesn't look to have been any builds for the MK808B Plus since 7.0.2.5? Any reason? Cheers.

Also my MK808B Plus is just booting to recovery rather than into LE? I loaded the image correctly and can see the expected files.

I've tried two different micro SD cards now and just boot into recovery every time, any help? Also tried the Libreelec sd burner and win32diskimager, still no joy.
