No one tried this yet? Would be interesting to know if the tweak works on other amlogic boxes or on 4K TV's also whether there's something else causing it to be blurred in lebreelec at the default zoom.

It's a big increase in image quality (see below)
4K video was downloaded from youtube using 4K video downloader.
A better question would be if there is a script you could run automagically to trigger this. Unfortunately I don't have that answer..
Ok think u have everything set up right but not sure about the transcode option. When would it be an advantage to use this with respect to AAC? I have a modern AV Amp that can handle all the usual formats. Would putting the transcode option on mean that AAC tracks would get converted to AC3?
Yes. Turn on transcode unless you enjoy Pro Logic or Stereo.
Not sure if this is correct. Put image on sd card, boot to it, then run installtonand again, I would assume it would overwrite the old install.

What kind of throughput are you getting on the Belkin adapters? Are they locking to 100mbit mode or are you getting closer to USB 2.0 speeds?
Locking at 100M. Literally tried everything I could find. Trying to force 1000M from either/both the box or the router kills the connection.
Wondering the same. I have tried a couple of Belkin Gigabit adapters and they do work, but can't get them to connect at 1000M to save my life. Long cables, short cables, expensive, cheap I've tried every trick in the book.
Yeah, you can't even begin to troubleshoot anything until you take case of that cabling mess.
But I'd like to transfer tvheadend / tv channels settings from old to new. Where in the file system are these settings buried?

I think it's save to say that the Mini M8S II S905X cant't pass through DTSHD High Resolution jet, regardeless the build I'm using.
My recommendation is to take this up in the Kodi forums. I suspect it could be their issue. Passthrough not really passthrough, unintuitive and contrary GUI, etc.

Hi, Just bought an a95x nexbox and put libreelec 7.0.3.010 build on it and when setting passthrough and playing DTS-HD and TRUE-HD test files I get no audio.
Everything else works fine. I can't remember if I copied the tree file over when installing it, would that make the HD audio not work?Also when playing Tears of Steel 4K (6.5GB 12 Minutes long) from NAS over ethernet I get stuttering, it plays fine from usb stick.
So do these TV boxes only have 10/100 ethernet ports? Bit of a disappointment is so.Thanks.
What device are you trying to play DTS-HD and True-HD on? Your AVR/TV must support decoding those types of streams if you have those options set.
And yes, most all of these boxes only support 10/100 ethernet. Although, AFAIK that should be plenty for 4K if your network is functioning properly.

im having a couple more issues, and id appreciate any help.
firstly i cant get the remote to work. ive added the remote.conf file, and ive tried more than one. ive also tried changing the amremote package and compiling.secondly ssh isnt working either. i compiled with everything ssh enabled, and i have the ssh bin file and everything. it just wont start.
im running an S805 mxq all black.

Why are you compiling anything? The releases 7.0.2.7 and 7.0.3.1 both should work fine. Work those out first before you resort to any patching/compiling.
Where are you installing the remote.conf file? Are you enabling SSH in the GUI on the First Boot Wizard?

I have 2gb ram and 16gb storage.
I don't have a reset button (or a pinhole) or any actual buttons on the box itself; only the remote, so I'm yet to figure out how to boot properly.
Out of interest, do most people install LE on the internal drive, or do you run it from a USB drive or memory card?

I have the same box.
Reset button is actually *inside* the A/V port in the back. Use an actual toothpick if you have one, the button is small and if you use wire (ie paperclip, etc.) you may miss to one side or the other back there.
I run an older version from internal no problem, but I run from SD card for an extended period until I'm sure it's working before committing to NAND.

I think "collecting" specs would be a bad idea. IMHO you should leave it to folks that actually have a device in hand to report. If this catches on, pretty soon you will see entries for the "same" box with different specs anyway, but at least they will be more or less confirmed by real people instead of just manufacturer's promises.
Adding the remote.conf files will be a boon BTW. Good on ya.
On my lower powered devices with Krypton, I use Mimic with very few issues. I find it a good balance between features and clean/simplicity.
Yes in my harmony the menu is context menu and the back button is back.
Plug in a USB keyboard and try that. If it doesn't work properly then your Kodi keymap is borked. If so reset that first. Then set your harmony to some samsung/panasonic, etc remote that has any old function assigned to ALL the keys on your physical remote. After that, use flirc config to assign each key to an actual keyboard key.
