Hi. 2 Years ago I replaced my dreambox 8000hd with wetek play 2 (amlogic s905 with dvb-s single tuner) . For multimedia wetek is ok using android (weos), libreelec, coreelec ... But for live tv is very very average. Dvb-s tuner is very weak and very often I have problem with few channels on hotbird 13e . Few weeks ago I bought dreambox 920uhd with dual dvb-s2x fbc tuner. There all channels works perfect on this same sat configuration . Now I streaming channels from dreambox to my android box using vu+ pvr backend on coreelec . Live tv works perfect, stable (also recording on dreambox hdd). About built-in tuner in K series I do not know. Maybe are better than wetek

For wetek play 2 there is also android tv rom with working netflix in 1080p/4k

For me everything works nice on latest GDPR-2 build and wp2

crazyturk , would be nice to replace wp2 for other nice android box but with dual dvb-s2 tuner and libreelec support. But there is still nothing interesting in the stores

I do not know what is wrong with your box but I do not have any problems with latest test build and I can download/install everything from libreelec repo

Normally. Tvh 4.2 installed stright from le repo. Do not install tvh 4.3 because for now is very unstable

Do clean installation if you want or just update on prevously installed Adam build (copy .tar or .img.gz by sftp build into .update directory and reboot. It will update your build automatically) . In this same way you can back also to older version

bylderup , better use tvheadend 4.2. New tvh 4.3 is very unstable now. 4.2 works nice and fast

GDPR-2 , Now with new test build everything works good on wetek play 2 Only sometimes when I open 4k channel (on hotbird 13e, especially Fashion 4k) I lost hdmi signal with my wetek/tv. I checked on my second sd card with Your older build 8.90.3 , this same channel and there is no problem. Anyway Big Thx

GDPR-2 , Thx. Problem was with not loaded wetekdvb module. After modprobe wetekdvb adapters are visible in tvheadend using crazycat or hauppauge But after reboot wetekdvb module is missing again And scanning muxes does not work

GDPR-2 , clean installation done again on my second msd card for wetek play 2. With crazycat and hauppauge drivers there is no dvb adapters in tvheadend web options available .I checked for updates in this dev build and showed me update to crazycat driver to this 101 version. Updated it but after reboot wetek play 2 remote does not work and still dvb adapters are not available in tvh webinterface

GDPR-2, with new devel build (updated to prevous devel) on wetek play2. Wifi works on all drivers, there is connection with tvh but no dvb adapters available.

Rizwan , I am still using 8.90.3 to time when dvb driver for wp2 will be fixed. This build works very nice

There is still problem with dvb driver in latest GDPR-2 build for wetek play 2 and because of that tvheadend does not work properly. We need to wait for fix from codesnake
