Hi everyone. I got the sunvell t95x (2g/8g version) and I tried to install Libreelec (I am new to this so I hope I did nothing wrong), but I cannot seem to find any wifi networks. When I go to settings-->Libreelec, there is nothing next to the connection tab.
    I tried both gxl_p212_2g.dtb and gxl_p212_2g_nand.dtb
but none of them changed anything.
    Can someone help me?
I cannot boot to android as I changed the bootvideo and a line in the build.prop file in the folder system/etc and since then I just get a yellow flickering screen when it tries to boot to android, so Libreelec is my final solution before sending sunvell t95x to the garbage .

might help you get android back

    try this link instead

    [Firmware] T95X AMLOGIC S905X 4K KODI 16.1 PREINSTALED ANDROID 6.0 TV BOX FIRMWARE 20160921 - FreakTab.com

I have the Beelink MiniMXIII II (ram 2GB, 16GB rom, 10/100 ethernet).

I had no difficulty installing multiple versions of libreelec-s905.arm-7.0.3.0xxx.img.gz with the tree gxl_p212_2g.dtb with everything working perfect.

Already in this last version 8.0.1a (I have not tried the previous 8 ...) apparently the installation runs well but I do not step from the screen "Libreelec Just enough OS for KODI"!

I tried several times and with several reboots and the result is always the same.

    Thank you

Have you tried the latest device tree? Index of /s905/device_trees/ last update was from 26th Feb

    bublegum57:
The first step is not neccessary beacuse the LE install makes a copy of your android remote.conf to your cards root folder.
From there you can copy to .config and delete the unused remote codes from it.

I didn't realise that. After I tried your remote in the storage\config & it didn't work. I read somewhere about a remoteconf in the root of the card. I then stupidly overwrote that with your remote, which of course didn't work.

    I'm learning though. :)

It means not all the H96 Pro comes with the same remote.
It makes sense why they put six different remote code to their factory remote.conf.

Thanks to you Ippon, & mickr

Mainly to help with my understanding of remote confs. I have written this
First of all. When booted into android, using an app (WiFi Droid) I logged in remotely. I copied the complete remote file from \etc\remote.conf
In there you will see several different remote confs. You need the “group” which has the factory code for your remote.
To find your factory remote I followed the guide by Ippon thread-3581.html?highlight=remote
You then place the remote.conf you have created in \storage\config then reboot
I then followed the guide from mickr to add a second remote, I still want to use Android, with the original remote, but also want to use my Logitech 650 for Kodi. (this is using the Pivos profile)
    thread-5154.html

    Thanks again :)

    Thanks for reply.

Unfortunately I cannot set my router with different name bands. The SSID is the same for 2.4 and 5.

    Other solutions?

    Magnum

Mine did & still has the same SSID. I just went into the settings & set them up separately with same SSID's but different names. I think, instead of auto select, it has a tick box for manual, in the router, not completely sure.

    Hi all,

a question about wi-fi: is it possible to force LE to use 5 GHZ wi-fi?
The 2.4 GHz band around me is sometimes disturbed.

My Mecool BB2 Pro with his original Android firmware supports both 2.4 and 5 ghz (AC).

    Thanks.

    Magnum

I have setup my router, so it has two different named bands, 2.4 & 5, then in android, choose the 5GHZ, when you boot into Libreelec, it should pick it up.

just wondering if some one can help me with proper device tree for this box,, everything works ok ,,except dont have wifi,,

maybe someone has extracted dtb ,,

    thanx

I searched for the T95V but could only find T95V pro, which seems to be S912. There are only alpha builds for that.

But if you have a S905 or S905X you need to check this out thread-5274.html

Depending on the LAN 100bit or 1Gbit & the RAM 1GB or 2GB you need to try either the gxbb for S905 or gxl for S905X

As you have read when you read the installation instructions, you create the build you need, then overwrite the dtb file with the device tree you have downloaded. BUT, as you will have installed to micro sd card first, you can just try another device tree until you get one that works for you.

    I think the remote.conf goes into /storage/.config

Sorry, I have not a recovery app. I am waiting now for DHL with microSD card, tomorow will see. Tree is correct, I hope, I have 1 giga net and 3 giga memory, file was renamed to dtb.img.

I have only two choices. Normal press is sleep, long press I see menu Sleep or Restart. "Reload to LibreElec" only asks "Really" (OK or Cancel) and do nothing for me.

When I start the reboot to libreelec app, a pop up comes up saying this app needs superuser access, & then I can "allow" the device to reboot. When it reboots I get to the recovery menu with the dead android.

Perhaps your device need root access, but I don't know, for sure.

I couldn't reboot with a microsd card, but my usb did.

I'm excited about the LE development for the S912, but I haven't been able to get the SD card to boot. I have a Beelink GT1 running Superceleron's V8B rom, which is excellent, but does not run some addons (VPN) that LE does. I have tried every method as listed on page 1 with no success. They all boot into TWRP, which is installed with the V8B rom. There is no update app as part of this rom.
What I am looking for is the original Beelink recovery for the GT1, or another boot method that will allow the SD card to run. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

I couldn't get a microsd to boot, but a usb drive did.

    I tried.
I have made USB stick with Rufus. I have 3 USB slots, No one is for boot. I tried program "Reboot to LibreElec", nothing.
I'll have to try a MicroSD card, but I do not one, I do not even cardreader too, I must buy MicroSD with USB access. We see tomorrow.

After you made the image on the usb, did you put the correct device tree on it?

When you used the recovery app, what did you select from the recovery menu?

Regarding, the boot from sd, I couldn't get it to boot from sd, so I am booting from usb.
