I THINK libreelec only uses 512MB, so you could put videos in the /storage/videos folder
The device tree depends on the LAN size & the RAM, 1 2 or 3 GB
try them one at a time, you don't need to recreate the image, just replace the dtb file.
as you have already read in the instructions. you know to rename the downloaded device tree to dtb.img
Just download the .img.gz file to the /storage/.update directory on your device. The, do a 'sync' before a reboot and it will be automatically upgraded to your SD card (the storage where your LE previously installed) at the next boot.
He wants to update the Android firmware
have you looked at the Freak Tab forum?
Search Result - FreakTab.com"keywords"%3A"coowell+v5"%7D
When you box rebooted, did the update start and fail with a "Archive corrupt" notice (or something similar) ?
The updates can be r e a l l y s l o w sometimes. I've had the update finish downloading and trigger the second prompt in about 2 minutes (the last update). But this update, after forcing the first prompt to appear (by switching back and forth between auto and manual updating), the download had not completed after 12 minutes. On reboot I got the above failed attempt, due to incomplete file I guess
I didn't see anything on the screen.
Then all you need to do, is remove the sd card with libreelec, flash android, then put sd card back & reboot.
if libreelec is already on the card & boots normally, what makes you think you need to do anything else?
with libreelec on the card, it is totally independent from android
Did you wait until the download was finished before rebooting?
I gave my box enough time to download, but it didn't update on next boot, so I updated it manually
Daz, when you said you wanted to update the firmware, I thought you wanted to update the Android firmware.
If you want to update Libreelec, just do as kszaq says
just plug the card back in, I'm not sure, but if it doesn't boot to Libre, use the pinhole reset method.
Go to Logitech Database
I put my manufacturer as Intel, then put the model of your nuc.
My Logitech 350 & 650 both work on my celeron nuc with Libreelec. Bear in mind, if you get multiple button presses, you need to disable Lirc in the Libreelec onfiguration
Bear with me, I don't know if this will work
Go to Libreelec/Kodi
Go to file manager & add source.
Add file source browse, at bottom, add network location
protocol smb
server name, add ip address of device you want access to
User name libreelec (or whatever)
password root (or what ever)
forget port & shared folder,
Ok
give it a name & ok
exit that, then add videos, browse to new share, then go to your new smb location & the usb hard drive.
do that for each of your devices.
Sorry.
You want to know how to setup SAMBA on Librelec, when used as a server.
Sorry, I can't help
If I understand you correctly, you are using Kodi on Android. This is a LibreELEC forum.
I suggest you ask on the Kodi forum. Kodi Android
with the card in the box. From windows, browse to the \\ip address\update drop the tar file in there. then reboot
Not sure from Ubuntu,
I have an urge to post something, even though I don't understand, exactly what this post is about.
Shut up!
I think, this is what chewitt is suggesting.
LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0)
Latest build is Page 157
from what I remember, these are just tar files, so you need a clean build, & add the tar file into the update folder & reboot
From the downloads page, downloads – LibreELEC there is a drop down for Raspberry Pi
