I have TVH 4.2.3 on an Intel NUC with the latest version of Libreelec, In have just checked for updates,there are none.
Search your addons for TVH, & see what version comes up.
I have googled, & couldn't find 4.2.5 for libreelec, I did find this, 4.2 - Tvheadend

as you plug in the power, press the reset button, after a few seconds, release it, it should then boot from usb/sd
make sure you have the correct device tree,
from the freaktab forum,,
It's that tiny hole on the bottom.
You've to use a toothpick or something similar to hit the button inside.

try using rufus to create the image, then copy over the correct device tree

Hi, I'm trying to put Elec free on a m8s pro + s905x but I can not get it working.
I have used these files:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-8.2.3.1.img.gz
There is no reset button and I used "reboot update" but the logo (mecool) is set and it does not work.
Update with it Updater that has by default does not see files on the pendrive.
Tell me what I should do.

thank you for the possibility to use kodi leia on libreelec, even with an alpha version. Really appreciate that.
Simple (hopefullly) question: I saw ppl are able to get the lcd-display working on their boxes with your build. I have a T95-Max box and wonder if i can make it work on that one, too? Is there something special to implement, do i need specific drivers to be enabled?
Atm the display only works when booting into android, but not in libreelec.

Prevous with remote.conf file I could map all buttons in keymap editor app. And remote repeats is very bad now. Before it was working good . Now I adjusted it little bit but still sometimes "jumping"the first post of this thread says that you can adjust the delay & repeats

I used to have an issue with skin settings not being saved, to get around it, I would choose another skin, then go back to the one I wanted.
No idea why.

In that case, if you get the icons you want, then store them, somewhere on the storage folder, you can probably browse to it.

If you have already looked at the Estuary skin settings, then perhaps it's not possible.
Try other skins?
I don't use Estuary, I use Titan.

I ran an Intel nuc from usb for a couple of years.
I assume it's set to boot from usb first?
you could try disconnecting the sata drive to see if that helps.

There was a change to samba shares. LibreELEC (Krypton) v8.1.2 BETA – LibreELEC
I use nfs. so not sure if the above will help.
In the Libreelec configuration, you can change samba to smb1?

Thanks, I tied version 8 (can't recall if it was 8.0 or 8.2) - thanks for those instructions but they look a touch tricky for me! Linux & SSH has me somewhat stumped. I looked at a youtube tutorial on Putty & SSH and its looks a simple enough program but the saving & editing of files looks too tricky as I'm a Linux novice. Is there a simpler way to get it to work?
If you are using version 8.0. or 8.2 , then look here or here
with these versions you copy a remote.conf file to storage/config then reboot
if you are using version 8.9.4 then you need to follow kostaman's instructions

What device, & what addon, is network working?

The device tree is based on the amount of ram, & the speed of the device network, ie 1000MB or 100MB
If you create the image on a sd card, you don't have to recreate the complete image, you only need to change the device tree
