Why don't you just try it? If it doesn't work, ditch it.

I doubt it would work, but because of the remote control changes, it would be best a start a fresh install on a separate usb drive

As Tim_Taylor says, you just need to read. I suppose I am just a fool for posting this yet again.
Download the img.gz file
Install rufus, from the drop down, select dd & burn img.gz
then copy the correct device tree based on the RAM & LAN to the root of the usb or sd card, renaming it to dtb.img overwrite old one if neccessary.
insert usb/sd, while you plug in power lead, hold in the reset button, after a few seconds, when you see the Libreelec logo, release the reset button.
it should then boot into libreelc,
if it doesn't boot, remove usb & copy a different device tree, again rename to dtb.img
there is no need to recreate the image

Thanks. I also install subs service, that I ask for.
Sorry, one more question. I think that kodi subtitle font was... more pretty than libreelec stock arial.
How can I move it little up, bellow video, but not at the end of screen ?
video calibration

will this addon work on a enigma2 satellite receiver? the blackhole images for the vu+ comes with the kodi plugin and i am just wondering if anybody had this working / is compatible with those machines. in the end of the day they speak the same language.. thank you.
I don't understand why you need it, but why don't you just try it. If it doesn't work, uninstall it

GDPR-2 oh i thought i need to flash aml_autoscript.zip that enables boot from sd card.
Thanks for reply gonna try now without that script.
Edit:
Flashed this image: Index of /releases/8.90.5LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.90.5.img.gz with rufus.
The box boots in android and not in openelec.
then try a different device tree, plus of course as you know, you hold the reset button in, while you plug the power lead in

Which one I have to choose ?
Looking device tree gxm_q200_2g.dtb or gxm_kvim2.dtb?
May be the problem is with usb ports... try to find card.
Well, I wouldn't think you use the kvim, as you have a beelink. It doesn't take long to try the device trees one at a time.
device tree is based on LAN & RAM size
-
The performance from internal compare to sd card is much better.
I didn't notice much of a difference.
-
if you don't see the Libreelec logo, just release the switch.
It probably means you have the wrong device tree, so download a different one, rename to dtb.img & try again, you don't need to create the image again.
I use rufus to create the image
you could try a different usb port or try a microsd

No. My understanding is, a VPN is used to disguise where you are in the world.
Some People using VPN's are possibly trying to stream pirated material,
Kodi, (Libreelec) is designed to stream/play media owned by you.
There is no support for illegal addons/streaming on this, or the Kodi forums.

From this
- toothpick method: disconnect the power supply, insert card/drive, push reset button and connect the power while holding the button. Wait until LibreELEC logo appears and release the button.
-
did you hold the reset button in, while plugging the power lead in?
-
Try it for yourself, just install to a separate usb
-
from the link, choose the img.gz file, download & use rufus to burn to a usb drive
then, choose the device tree based on RAM & Ethernet size 1GB or 100MB
then copy the device tree to the usb, renaming it to dtb.img
then using the reset button, boot the usb
if it doesn't work, try another device tree, no need to create the image again.

I don't have a wetek, but I think, you need to use the tool, to install to another usb plugged into the wetek,
Can you boot to usb? if so select it, then it should give the option to install to nand or the other usb.
well thats the way I installed libreelec on to my usb
-
did you read this [8.90.5] LibreELEC 9.0 Alpha for S905/S912 devices
about the changes to remotes?
-
Choose the device type from here [INDEX] LibreELEC community builds for Amlogic
then READ the instructions
basically, write the image to a sd or usb add the correct device tree, & reboot the box

I have this problem on my H96 Pro S912 using tvhead. I might give this fix a try later. I am not using an AVR.
