I made a fresh install and retroelec now works great. But Tvheadend service doesn't start because libvdpau.so.1 is missing. Will this be fixed in a future retroelec build?

I tried installing over LibreELEC RR yesterday, but that didn't work out so good it seems. Chrome addon installs, but Chrome doesn't start. Tvheadend doesn't start either. I upgraded it to newest version. When I click on Desktop button Kodi disappears but the system then freezes and I see only those boot up text lines. I installed latest generic on my Ivy Bridge system.

escalade just now released a newer build of his pure Wayland Retroelec and he says this:
"Kodi now runs on GBM/KMS (no X server, directly on the framebuffer like on ARM) - this is actually the future of LibreELEC as stated by the team, AFAIK it's also the only way to get HDR to work. Resolution and refresh rate switching working just fine."
Just fyi

OK so I wait for new version

I did already
Do I just put the 1.1.2 jar in the addon folder or do I have to make symlink too?

Is the addon in the official repo already too?

I noticed that there's a new feature of MakeMKV - LibreDrive. I wonder if it can be used in MakeMKV in LE. Of course you need a supported drive first. LibreDrive is required to play UHD discs with MakeMKV. Also I found a region A Blu-ray that won't play for me probably due to revoked key in my current drive. So I I'm looking for a new drive. If LibreDrive can be used under LE I'll get a drive that's supported, because then there won't be any more issues with revoked keys.

Official repo would be very nice.

Follow the step as described in the first post & setup the update tool in libreelec settings.
Which Kodi audio problem in particular? The only problem I'm aware of is the faulty Nvidia 415.x/418.x series which screws audio output & that's solely Nvidias fault
I only saw some posts about no audio after an update some weeks ago. I used only SPDIF at the time. Now I was going to watch a Blu-ray and needed HDMI. But there was no audio. Before that mentioned update HDMI audio worked perfectly. I run LE on Intel without nVidia or AMD GPU. Do I have to adjust the asound.conf like I had to earlier thus winter?
