Updated 2 Rpi4s from 10.0.4 without issues. Speed and stability seems to be slightly better. Had a longstanding issue with LE spontaneously rebooting when generating thumbnails for photos, that also seems to be fixed in 11. So that's nice :-).
Installed on clean sd card , enabled ssh and copied via samba share several test jpg files.
When entering pictures viewer kodi just freeze for 2-4 minutes , some times on start sometimes after few picture viewing and using left/right to switch and then usually kodi resumes or crash and restarted.
Also when new file arrived and libreelec picks it up for library scan , there is a freeze from time to time , My guess its the…

So the issue still remains. I tried tweaking gpu_mem and cma in config.txt and cmdline.txt but no luck.
Is there anything I can try or does someone have values for these that work? I kinda like browsing my photos via Kodi but not when it crashed.
Update: this problem still exists in the latest 18.6 build for RPI4.
How can I provide more info? It's just weird that a complete movie streams perfectly and traversing thru directories and / or generating photo thumbnails reliable crashes Kodi.
Plenty of time on my hands these days with this Corona thing to run some tests.
I can reliably crash my RPI4b by browsing the Pictures. After a while the PI reboots.Doesn't matter which directory and / or pictures I choose or watch, so its not a specific file or dir. Randomly browsing is enough.
I activated logging and Pastebinned the kodi.old.log:

When I installed the PI I had the same thing happen when adding sources for video and music: browsing to a directory led to a crash. I thought it was flaky power supply at my desk, but since then I ordered another power supply and moved to Pi to the living room. So low power can be ruled out I think. Also because it never happens when watching video either from file or streaming.
I'm a bit embarrased to say that was it. I ruled the router out because > 10 devices still worked (wireless & wired). And the Pi got a lease thru DHCP for the wireless connection so I thought DHCP was working.
But ... have you tried turning it on / off again worked this time. I hope we get rid of the summer / winter time regime in Europe .... not logical for humans or electronic devies.
In Netherlands we went to winter time last night. This morning my PI3B with latest LibreElec didn't have a network connection. Date was 28 april 2019. DHCP doesn't work, manual setting IP doesn't work. When I make a WIFI connection correct date is shown and it works.
What can I do to make the wired connection work again?
I was getting error in mount_storage on Odroid C2, when I did `mount /dev/mmcblk0p2 storage` it started up ok, I tried running e2label on the file system and there wasn't any label, so I ran `tune2fs -L STORAGE /dev/mmcblk0p2` and now it boots without a problem.
I also ran into this error on Odroid C2, on updating from Kodi 17.6. I solved this by completely starting from scratch though, not a Linux expert enough to solve this.
