    Hello,

I successfully installed the Emby server and set it up through the web interface.

    A few questions:

    - How do I make Kodi use the Emby library instead of its own?

    - Are the .nfo files created by Kodi compatible with Emby? Seems like it fetches all info from the internet. I would mostly be interested in importing the played state.

    Thank you!

I am a mac user and had the same experience copying files to or from my nuc via the Finder. It is pretty glacial. Mac OS dosen't seem to like SAMBA very much. I use sftp via Transmit instead; and before that I used Cyberduck. File transfers are pretty fast. Cyberduck is open source so it wold be the perfect marriage.

Hi, thank you for the tips!

Started using sftp with FileZilla and I'm happy so far.

    Hello,

Another bug which I think is either LE or Amlogic related (Wetek Core):

When using skip (pressing up / down to jump 10 minutes in the video), playback freezes and "Buffering... 100%" is shown.

Here's how I am able to reproduce the issue:

    - skip forward a few times (press up)

    - skip backward (press down

The freeze occurs anywhere between the 1st and 3rd time I press down

    Debug log:

    TRiC

    Freezing occurs here:

    Hello,

I'm having an issue where some Youtube videos are not playing and it only seems to appear when using LibreEELEC on my Wetek Core

Here is one of the videos in question. It's actually only audio with a black screen.

When trying to play it on LE, it starts minimized and with no sound.

The video plays well on following systems:

    - macOS Sierra / Kodi 17.4

    - Windows 10 / Kodi 17.6

Debug log when trying to play the video:

    OQVj

I disabled CEC and Audio passthrough (seen some errors about them in the log) and turned off my home cinema system, but the issue is still there.

    My setup:

    Wetek Core

    LE 8.2.1

    Youtube add-on 5.4.5

P.S. oops, I just realised that this last one might be related to the Youtube addon (installed an alpha version yesterday)

However there are other weird things going on in the log.... for some reason looks like the database got corrupted?

I also checked out the output of top and aml_nftld uses a lot of CPU

P.P.S. I rebooted LE from ssh and now everything is a mess :)

    Hello,

Copying to LE 8.2.1's samba shares (external USB device) is painfully slow from macOS 10.12. A 2GB file takes about 10 minutes. Copying the same file from the share to macOS took about 4 minutes. I'm not sure, but I think it was a lot faster in 8.2.0.

When starting to copy, Finder shows 8.4 MB copied for about 4 seconds, then 25.2 MB copied for another 10 seconds and then it goes on with copying.

I set samba log level to 3 and the log is literally flooded with these error messages:

    ../source3/lib/messages_dgm.c:658(messaging_dgm_out_sent_fragment)

messaging_dgm_out_sent_fragment: messaging_out_queue_recv returned Connection timed out

    and

    ../source3/smbd/smb2_server.c:3102(smbd_smb2_request_error_ex)

    smbd_smb2_request_error_ex: smbd_smb2_request_error_ex: idx[5] status[NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_FILE] || at ../source3/smbd/smb2_query_directory.c:155

Following some suggestions I found in different forums, I turned off signing by creating an nsmb.conf file under /etc/ with this option:

    [default]

    signing_required=no

However, this did not have any impact on the speed.

Since I've also seen some locking errors in the log, I set: strict locking = no under [global] in LE (in Configfiles/samba.conf)

Setting SO_SNDBUF=65535 SO_RCVBUF=65535 under socket options actually improved, but it's still pretty slow.

Using SMB2 over SMB3 doesn't seem to change the speed, so it's not related to that.

Does anyone else experience this with macOS?

P.S. Here are the messages I mean

    Hello,

LibreELEC 8.2.1 is installed on the NAND of my Wetek Core device I had problems with crashes and data loss with Android (Wetek support suggested a hardware issue)

LE is actually running great, but I just experienced a hang while playing Youtube videos (Youtube add-on v5.4.5)

Here is the output of dmesg after unplugging the adapter and rebooting.

    fNLL

Could this be indeed a hardware issue or could it be AMLogic related?

I have a 3TB uxternal HDD connected to the USB port, with an HFS+ partition and an EXT4 partition.

    Thank you for your help!

    UPDATE:

(Maybe this should be moved to "Bugs")

Just manage to reproduce the issue. Here's what I did

    - rebooted LE

    - started Kodi on my Windows 10 laptop and tried to access LE through UPnP (got an error - unable to connect)

    - stopped and restarted the UPnP service in LE: Kodi on Windows 10 was able to connect straight away

The same happens when trying to connect from an Xbox 360

    Here's the output of dmesg

    KAhE

Here is the full log with debug enabled for both UPnP and Samba

    Hi again,
