Demetris I have updated my gbox-q ap6330 with LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.1-M8.tar (assuming that is the right .tar which i believe it is) and still showing just a wired option and no wifi. Thanks!

New images coming soon
Demetris Thank you for your work! -
@bluejay
If no WiFi option is showing it means the needed WiFi driver is not included, Demetris would need to know your WiFi chip in order to maybe be able to fix it in a future release.
As for the remote not working have you got a copy of the remote.config? If so copy it to storage/.Config folder and reboot box. If you don't have a copy of it you may need to try find one, there is a thread in here somewhere that's for remotes and config files have a look in there, you maybe Lucky and find one.digitalsilencer
It would appear bluejay has the same box maybe ask if he can talk you through it as I've never had one of those so not 100% in the correct process but normally place the files (normally 1 or 2 files) on the root of an SD card and then reboot your box to recovery where it should auto install and reboot.
If you're already on a libreelec then you can just place the .Tar update file in storage/.Update and just reboot box normallySent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
chunk1982 Thanks, I managed to find a working remote.conf file in those zips! Still don't have a wifi option now...I opened up the box and i saw a AP6330 number, does that help? It is a Matricom gbox-q. All of previous builds have had wifi option on them but just from reading this thread, it seems as though Demetris builds would have this covered, since his updates are very thorough. Thanks in advance.

Its for allowing you to flash new S8X2 on S802 and transition to new romSent from the Island of Venus.
Hey Demetris, so i managed to flash your LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.1-M8.tar build on my matricom g-Box Q and everything seemed to take and boot fine except there is only a LAN option and no Wifi and the remote does not respond to any commands at all. I managed to hook up ethernet for now with a mouse to cruise around. Any suggestions on what to try next to get wifi and remote working?
Thanks for your work!

@Bluejay you may have to make a FILE called .nocompat and place it in your .Update folder along side the .Tar for the update.
Make sure it does NOT end up .nocompat.txtDemetris
Only just got around to installing the latest image you released, must say is working very well on my TRMK1 (M8C)
Including WiFi, Bluetooth and remote!!!
Thank you!!! You absolute legend!!!Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
chunk1982 Okay thanks, so just a file called .nocompat that is empty using notepad or how do you create that file and what is it for? Thanks for the reply.

Hey guys and Demetris thanks for your builds. I want to upgrade a Matricom g-box (original 802 processor) that is running openelec currently to Libreelec 8. All i would have to do is drop LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.1-M8.tar in update folder or is there more to do?
Thanks! -
For the S905X you need one of the device trees staring in gxl.
Thanks very much, I am used to the 905 boxes.

Hi kszaq, I tried running your latest 8.0.0f build on a Nexbox A95X through usb. I used the device tree gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit_RealtekWiFi.dtb and renamed it dtb.img on usb but in there is no option for Wifi in Libreelec/Network, there is only a Wired option. I have never seen that in your builds....could it be a wrong device tree or?
Thanks in advance.

Add the correct file "remote.conf" in the directory "/storage/.config".Thanks!

Hi balbes150. I just updated my matricom gbox-q2 from openelec with your latest build by dropping the .tar in the update folder and it seemed to install fine but my remote is no longer working but it was with openelec. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi kszaq. I was running your 7.0.3.012 version on my Beelink Mini MX box and wanted to upgrade to 8.0.0c build. I grabbed the .tar file and a new device tree (named it dtb.img) and put them into the Update folder on the box and reboot. Everything looked fine installing but now when it boots up it just gets stuck on the Libreelec screen? I tells me its 8.0.0c build in top left though. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Hey, I have a new Mini MX box and want to install 32 bit on it. Should I wipe data/wipe cache a couple times in recovery on the box and then run libreelec from sd/install to internal or just keep stock android and install libreelec or does it matter either way?
Thanks for your work.

Hey guys any suggestions or comments on my problem or has anyone experienced this? Some HD/SD files play fine while others seem to drop the hdmi signal and the screen goes black. I was testing .008 build then upgraded to the latest dev build with device tree gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit_RealtekWiFi.dtb.Thanks in advance!
*SOLVED* probably a rookie move but default Adjust Display Refresh Rate = ON...which was dropping the hdmi signal on some files. I turned that setting OFF and all is well!
Thanks for your work and builds!

So i did manage to play some 720p videos but other 720p/1080p videos drop the hdmi signal so i am not too sure what is going on. I did manage to get the back key working which is great so thanks for the help with that!
