wouldn't this be solved by deleting the AddonsXX.db ?
Mysql uses a single database with individual tables. Dropping the table would break it because the table will not be recreated.

Yes, however I believer there would be an issue with the addon table within the database. We were only able to work around this for the standard sqlite database. So you may have a problem installing new add-ons from the LibreELEC repo
Thanks, it works very well now.I changed my mind and built a gogs docker image. You can try it with
Codedocker run -d --name gogs-server --publish 8022:22 --publish 3000:3000 --volume /storage/gogs-data/:/data mayeulc/gogs-rpi
Or similar, if anyone is interested. One thing that could be great would be to allow browsing docker hub from the add-on, making it the preferred way to install software such as transmission or other on LE.
Thanks for the info
I've thought about building a gui in kodi for docker via python, I just haven't had the time to get around to starting it.
Yes, I know how to install openelec on nand.
Though I'm not sure which set of files to use for LE - on the download page there are 3 possible sets?
[hr]
Just to add, for example, do I first install openelec on nand, and then use the LE Manual Update from OpenELEC (.tar) files?Or should I simply use New Install to WeTek internal NAND (.zip)? - Is it the same process as installing openelec to nand, because the set of files look quite different to openelec? I know someone else who tried this & they said it bricked their wetek play
thanks
Use the .tar file to upgrade if you have OpenELEC already installed.
Use the .zip file to do a fresh NAND flash.
an addon for it hasn't been created yet.
Please try with a recent milhouse build. We switch graphic drivers and it may or may not help.
HiI've successfully upgraded from openelec. (Thanks Guys for LE!) The only issue I have is with socat. It seems that the ssl library is not installed.
I tried reinstalling it but same issue.
the ssl library is installed, it is probably just built against a different version. We would have to provide our own socat addon for it to work.
I'm sure this is written wrong: sunxi community is great. But Allwinner who makes the SoC is bad
yes that's what I mean
can you install other stuff with this like in "osmc" or if the file system locked like in "openelec"?
being a for of OpenELEC it would be safe to assume that we are similar
The locked down filesystem is a feature, if you don't understand why then OpenELEC or LibreELEC probably aren't for you
We don't support pptp anymore. Neither should you as it is very insecure. We include openvpn as default.
Yea we have a fix and it should be pushed soon, however it may require you to remove the dvblink addon manually and the backup folder because the version number may not change
Not sure why that would happen really, perhaps set the option "keep audio device alive" to "always"
Regardless, a kodi debug log may help.
Problem with orange pi is the sunxi company who makes it and their GPL compliance issues.
That being said I have basic support for the orange pi on my branch however, it doesn't boot quite yet. Even when it does boot there will be limited support in kodi for its hardware accelerated decoding
Not at the moment no
You can however use plexbmc or similar addons for kodi
There are no configuration options from the Hyperion service. You give it a config file and it runs. That's all it does. There are separate Hyperion addons from kodi and others that may allow you to configure how Hyperion works.
The requests library isn't available on LibreELEC
The ssl error was fixed because it docker wasn't looking in the right place for the ssl certs. I fixed this in the latest update.
Getting started with docker can be tricky and it helps to know what platform you are running on. Firefox requires x11 which isn't present on any of the arm platforms.
Also, there are a couple sample systemd services for docker containers located at
Turn on mouse and touch screen support in kodi (though I don't recommend it)
System --> system --> input devices --> mouse and touch screen support
