I guess you're also not using Mir? Sorry if that's off-topic but what are you using (any documentation available) ?
Nothing on our arm platforms kodi runs directly on the frame buffer device.

Arch has an Xorg-free Chromium: AUR (en) - chromium-wayland
Which requires wayland which we also don't use
Honestly, I wouldn't touch anything there, you are likely to just make things worse.
New builds are posted
The amixer command has no place in config.txt. That should be in autostart.sh if at all.
Yes thank you, as i've written it works only in these builds but I cannot explain why the screen remains black...:\
Make sure you are on the latest available build.
I will do new builds soon
Not really possible.
All I can think of doing is using the rss feed that Google provides for your calender and adding that to the kodi rss ticker.
Having the background download and dynamically update isn't possible really.
iscsi support should be built and included by default, however, we only include iscsistart and not iscsiadm.
I just did the upgrade myself from Openelec 6.0.3 last night. I downloaded the tar, and replaced the files in the /flash partition, except config.txt and cmdline.txt. (Of course I have a backup of the storage partition)When it first loaded, I had my doubts about smoothness, but I guess there is a lot to update between the database and Jarvis addons, and it wanted to rescrape my music for some reason. After about 10 minutes it levelled off and the smooth experience I've always had came back. All in all... It's pretty much the exact same as Openelec, only with Jarvis, at this point. (Not that I'm complaining)
You should use the normal update method. The bootloader and overlays also get updated when using our normal update method and there is less chance of breaking things as md5 checks are used to ensure file integrity.
Make a backup in the OE settings add-on, then simply update.
The main problems with updating are with kodi. Sometimes add-ons aren't updated for the new version.
If it goes wrong then you can use the backup you made.
I would like to say a big thank you as well!will donate to help with what I can!
Thanks for the kind words! We are happy that you can be here with us along the way!
Oh, ok![]()
But can you please tell me, how i can acces the camera with a webserver?
Anything is possible, however there is no webserver on LibreELEC and we don't provide any to install.
Unplug the dongle then reboot to refresh the Bluetooth controller.
Hello, first thanks for your hard works and for bringing to life libreELEC. I've a small question: Ps3 controller works with these builds only ordoes it work also in the main libreELEC build?thank you!
It should work in the main builds, but input handling has changed drastically in kodi 17.0
Did you try the generic version? Did the video decoding worked well?
I don't use windows so I can't actually test.
SDL2 is built statically so it's now needed on the base version. The addon will run fine without a special build.
