The chromium hardware accelleration settings are very much a hack. It may work it may not, there isn't much I can do about it.

check the special page 'chrome://gpu' and see what the render methods say.

also make sure that chromium isn't running in the background because when you change the settings for chromium from kodi they won't change.
in chromium settings ('chrome://settings') scroll to the bottom and disable running in the background.

I only know from my experience with the Odroid C2 build which also uses a 3.14 kernel

do this

echo "xrandr --output LVDS2 --off && sleep 1 && xrandr --output HDMI-1-0 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60.00" >> /storage/.config/autostart.sh

then reboot.

if you ever want it to stop just do this

rm /storage/.config/autostart.sh

I think this will fix your audio issues as well as it will run before kodi runs.

try running (all one line)

xrandr --output LVDS2 --off && sleep 1 && xrandr --output HDMI-1-0 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60.00

I looked into this and unfortunately the setup scripts are not friendly with the ash busybox shell that we use.

So without a complete rewrite of the sapphire_keymap.sh script it won't be possible to use on LibreELEC.

As far as I'm aware these builds use a 3.14 kernel which has issues with the ps3 controller wireless. It should work using a cable.

Why? You don't need to actually run kodi on a server. All you need is samba or nfs.

The idea was to be able to manage the databases from a server role, so you can update the databases and add new content on the same server where the files sit. Then when you boot your kodi client all the new media is there already.

You should be able to select the monitor to use in the kodi settings.

why not just overlay the entire rootfs, then you wouldn't have to change the LD_LIBRARY_PATH or PATH at all

I ask because it uses libinput instead of evdev. Perhaps it will work better with your trackpad.

Or you could write a script that makes a backup then as just the kodi key map so with a button press kodi runs the script, you could also possibly set a custom action with certain skins.

Just update using the normal update method. Feel free to make a backup first

you can use kodi to open rtsp streams, maybe you can use the PVR functionality with tvheadend or another iptv client to open and record rtsp streams.
