If you just build from master then no, you won't have to rebuild the full image
if you checkout the next version via git checkout 7.90.009 then you will have to compile the entire image again.

How are you making the SD card? are you using our USB/SD creator utility?
Can you format the SD card before installing to it?
Which version are you using?

The storage partition is expanded upon initial boot. So you may have interrupted the boot process.
Just do a clean install and let it boot normally.

Currently there is no scraper functions to "set content" yet. This will be added in the future.

Not sure what you mean
Kodi is the GUI
You add a source that contains all your games, or you can use the IARL to browse roms from archive.org
Then you select a game and it launches with a specified emulator.

There is no line in
you would have to use some audio capture card, then route that audio via pulseaudio to your bt headset.

Kodi is the frontend for retroplayer
You can try and speed things up by disabling rewind
settings --> game --> disable rewind -
try reinstalling the widvine plugin from the chromium settings

If I were downloading from your website directly, you'd have a good point. But this ingenious application you created (usb-sd creator) is so convenient and easy to use, it eliminates the need to routinely go to the website. If the drop down menu also showed the kodi version, that would give me all the information I would need to make a download decision. Just Sayin'...Sent from my GT-P3113 using Tapatalk
Probably not going to happen. Sorry.

You know that the file you played is in Dolby Atmos?probably your gpu can't do that under linux. as amd and linux aren't the best friends.
I'm not sure if that is true or not but I'll have to look it up
AMD can do DTS-HD and TrueHD just fine, but I think atmos is TrueHD + some extra channels.

I have updated my raspberry with libreelec 7.90 krypton and experience the same issue. However, I cannot follow the solution presented above. Could someone be so kind to present a dummy-explanation to me? For clarity reasons, I only run a raspberry pi, no nas server or anything. If you don't use a NAS or anything why do you need SMB shares?
-
Yes, use the USB to emmc adapter and it will work just fine.

Another question, do you really have an RPi2 and not an RPI B+ maybe?
