To go back just download LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-7.90.008.tar and update in the same way.
I'm looking to see what vainfo says is possible to decode on that specific hardware.

Take this build, LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-Milhouse-20161126210614-#1126-g1a9b633.tar and drop it in your update folder and reboot.

Yeah that of course will make it difficult.
I just build my first PC in many years which is why it would be nice to get Moonlight working.I think there is a way to set up Nvidia Gamestream for remote access..
Maybe I could try to open the ports to set it up and then share the IP with you so that you can try to debug.

Ah, it's not installed when using release builds.
Would you mind updating to the most recent milhouse build and and run the command again?
You can always downgrade back to the version you are on after.
