I PR'd it, it should be built and uploaded within a couple days.

Did you try force refreshing the addon repo? It will periodically refresh itself but if you just connected the Internet then it may need a force refresh

a use case for this is what i used to do :Esxi Server with 2 cheap ati GPUs.
create 2 VMs with openelec/libreelec
passthrough the GPUs.so you can use your server to power all your TVs + all your other VM stuff you do as well.
really, i could never get it to work with openelec so i used kodibuntu. but i suspect this libreelec image will actually work.
The virtual build doesn't have an GPU drivers, it only has a vmware driver. So if you want to passthrough GPU's you'd have to use the Generic build

No graphics card added. It can run Ubuntu fine, and kodi on ubuntu pretty well, so i figured something more minimal like libreelec would be good for the older hardware. Is that not the case? Should i just try to do kodibuntu instead?
We don't support old nvidia or amd graphics cards. They get to a point where old hardware is useless because there is no hardware accelerated graphics which is useless.
So unless you know exactly which graphics adapter is in the machine it most likely won't work at all.
Sorry.

What video card is it using? (If any at all?).
It's most likely just too old of hardware.

wow , just seen these slice online nice port , quick question see the LED round the slice could boblight be utilized to control those LED'S
and are slice wall mountable ? or bracket avail to be able mount & disconnect from mount when goin to travel ?You can use a special version of Hyperion, but it doesn't make too much sense.
No they aren't wall mountable and they don't have vesa mounts.

Please post a kodi debug log.

Yes, after inspecting the page I found the direct video link.
160512_1710_GAL16_09_HansmeyerM_AUPH.mp4?caches=0.3672725008939388
You can put this into a .m3u, or .stream file
Internet video and audio streams - Official Kodi Wiki
so, in summary,
make a file called file.strm and put that link in it, then navigate to the file (wherever you put it in the filesystem) and open the file in kodi.
-
why do you want to stop kodi?
-
I don't see the /.kodi folder inside / storage in the latest version of libreelec.
Like was said earlier, it's a hidden folder. You'll have to enable hidden folders to see it.

/storage/.kodi/addons

nvidia-led/nvidia-led.sh at master · Madh93/nvidia-led · GitHubit's a shell script that sends commands to nvidia-settings. Just modify the path in line 4 (styles=) and it should run on LE without changes.
we don't include nvidia-settings at all so no matter what it won't work.

Just got my first Raspberry Pi 3 B. I have Set it up using Libreelec Kodi system for use as a media center got it working using a raspberry pi detached usb keyboard mouse and an hdmi cable to a TV.First question. how do I go about connecting my laptop to the libreelec Kodi system using an ethernet cable showing what shows up normally using the HDMI connection.
Second question. How do I go about using using a raspberry pi "usb 2.0 WiFi connection adapter with Ralink 5370 chipset built in" from CanaKit
to do the same thing.Third question. How do I connect using WiFi with an android phone or tablet using the Kore android program with the android version of Kodi?
I end up in Kodi each time I boot the Raspberry pi I do not know how you get to the programming area.
I'm really unsure what you are trying to do.
LibreELEC is a standalone embedded linux distro specifically tailored to run Kodi. There is no other area, no desktop, no web browser, nothing, just Kodi.

Would need a debug log
