use autoexec.py as mglae suggested. If that is not working post a kodi debug log and it will say what is wrong with the script

No, systemd does this for you. There is no need to do it manually.
-
So you solved it?
-
with the tv remote maybe?
-
If you are using passthrough then kodi is sending the bitstream so the device (tv or amp) can decode it. Therefor kodi has no control over the volume.

Thanks for the kind words! We hope you like it!

Awesome, thanks for letting us know it worked. We can backport this for the 8.2.0 release

Well,i didn't find a way to do it,but anyway i think it would be great to have it as a menu option in the System/Sound settings. Thank you for your answer
Better to request such a thing at the Kodi forums

Just an FYI incase you didn't know but you can just drop the img.gz file provided from vpeter in the updates folder just like a tar file
-
Did you map the controller in the controller configuration gui?
-
Cheers. Thanks for the support!

You can do this with pulseaudio however there are limitations of course.
-
Try downloading again? Try on a different computer?
-
No idea then.
Are you infact using the rear USB type B port?

Passthough audio was never the issue, it is only an issue with HD-audio (HBR) formats. There is no indication that this patch solves this but it is worth a test.

I'm not sure what you mean. Did you get it to work?
