Yes, your previous settings are safe
Try this :
# systemctl stop kodi
# mv /storage/.kodi /storage/.kodi.new
# mv /storage/.http://kodi.new/.kodi.bak /storage/.kodi
# systemctl start kodi -

After instal to Nand have problem with personal settings. I can not make backup when booting from SD. I have informaation - not enough space. Even if I try to use external hdd or usb always the same information - not enough space. Is there any other way to "copy" settings from SD to internal?Boot from NAND, and then insert your SD card (it will get mounted to /var/media/DISK)
Then :
# systemctl stop kodi
# mv /storage/.kodi /storage/.kodi.bak
# cp -av /var/media/DISK/.kodi /storage
# umount /var/media/DISK
# systemctl start kodi -
The second issues is with video playback. I calibrated the screen so that the Kodi GUI is perfectly aligned. But as soon as I play any kind of video the calibration is off again. I can see it since subtitles and lower and if I check the GUI the buttons are trimmed. When video stops the screen blinks and the Kodi GUI is aligned again.Hi
you need to calibrate the screen for all modes : 1080p60 (which is the default for Kodi GUI), 1080p24, 1080p50, etc.
When viewing a video, press OK and then go to screen -> calibration.

Hi fragler
you need this S905 build : LibreELEC
-
Confluence is not installed in ~/.kodi, you'll find DialogButtonMenu.xml in /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.confluence/720p (non writable using LibreELEC).

Any thoughts on the latest development build? People who experienced live TV stuttering, please?Hi kszaq
I went from 7.02.009 to this 11/19 build, and no far no issue (but I had no issue with 7.02.009 either).
So far I've just tested a few x264/x265 files, I'll report if I find something. Thanks for your work !
Edit : I spoke too soon...I have popping sound every time when seeking into the files, I go back to 7.02.009
Edit : false alarm, it turns out I had the same issue with this file using 7.02.009

Hi kszaq
using the latest stable 7.02.009 (and also 7.02.008, IIRC) screenshots of x265 files are corrupted. Issue is always reproductible, with any x265 file.
Playing a x264 file an taking a screenshot : OK
Stopping the file, playing a x265 file : screenshot is corrupted, a "ghost" of the previous (x264) file can be seen.
Playing a x265 file after reboot results in this screenshot :
Corrupted (x265) screenshots are much smaller than correct (x264) ones.
I don't see errors in kodi.log when screenshot is taken.
Don't hesitate if you need some more testing.

I have no popping/crackling issues here during playback, only one pop whenever the audio interface goes to sleep or wakes up. Setting Kodi "Keep Audio Devices Awake" to Always fixes that (it's a kludge though.)Thanks for the tip, I had the same (minor) issue

I have Nexbox A95X with LE.008 version on SD. After reading this topic I think will instal LE to internal memory but first have questions - If something go wrong or i will change my mind in future can I install back android (stock firmware)? To make it just the same as upgrading stock firmware from SD?Yes, you can find the Android firmware (current version is update_103.zip) here : Mini M8S II 4K Smart TV Box Amlogic S905X 2/8GB WiFi 10/100 LAN BT - FreakTab.com
You'll also need a Windows PC and the "Customization Tool" binary.
-
AFAIK, Transmission is provided as an add-on in LibreELEC.

Thanks. Worked fine (had to reboot and run again, but...)
"Old" script rebooted from internal :
echo "All done! Rebooting in 10s..."
sleep 10
rebootfromnandAnd new script just prints this :
echo "All done! You can now continue using your LE system or type \"rebootfromnand\" to reboot from internal memory."
echo "WARNING: If your internal memory layout is different from standard Amlogic, you have to reboot and perform this operation again!" -
In the LibreELEC settings create a system backup which will backup everything. Use the installtointernal command then go back into libreelec settings and restore from back.
Everything will be excatly the same.
Or, after first boot :
# systemctl stop kodi
# mv /storage/.kodi /storage/.kodi.bak
# cp -r /var/media/DISK/.kodi /storage
# systemctl start kodi -
I'm not sure I follow you.
I created the file on Windows notepad++
I then copied it to the storage/.Configs folder using a usb.I then rebooted.
[hr]Do I execute this command via ssh?
Do I have to do this every time I restart?Notepad++ is fine, it handles CR/LF fine.
To run the chmod command (once), you have to login via SSH (root / libreelec).

Im having the exact same problem. I created the autostart.sh file. With file ending in .sh NOT .txt or .py and placed it in the .configs folder. rebooted and cant see my wifi. Any help is appreciated.Did you create the file using a Windows editor, with the Samba share ?
If so, can you login with a SSH client, and issue a "dos2unix /storage/.config/autostart.sh" ?
