Hi

In fact, when you boot for the first time from SD/USB (using toothpick/fake zip/etc.), boot loader gets patched to allow booting first from SD/USB.
Yes, 'power toggle' can turn the box on/off.
I also use two Logitech Harmony (600 and 650), with a modified remote.conf and the "Keymap editor" add-on everything works great.
In my case on Videostrong M9 4k (1Gib) in 64bit userland kodi uses ~250MB of ram on start, on 32bit is ~200
50MB is 20% of total ram...
5%, not 20% ?
Hi kszaq
a friend of mine tested 7.03 on a Mini M8S II (S905X, 2 Gb / 8 Gb) and found that seeking into a x264 file is much faster than with 7.0.2
Many thanks redger, I can now use all of the keys and map to more functions
Hi kszaq
as always, no issue found with this latest build
Does the Krypton "revert to Mali r5p1 drivers for smoother GUI" applies to Jarvis builds ?
Easiest way is to install this add-on : Add-on:Keymap Editor - Official Kodi Wiki
I've noticed some keys are not working :
- media, music, app, fast forward and fast rewind
- 2, 7, 9 and 0 seem to be duplicates.

Here's my .kodi/userdata/keymaps/gen.xml
<keymap>
<global>
<keyboard>
<key id="61480">updatelibrary(video)</key>
<key id="61617">screenshot</key>
<key id="61473">firstpage</key>
<key id="61585">info</key>
<key id="61625">lastpage</key>
<key id="61624">activatewindow(shutdownmenu)</key>
<key id="61952">stop</key>
</keyboard>
</global>
<fullscreenvideo>
<keyboard>
<key id="61478">codecinfo</key>
<key id="61474">audionextlanguage</key>
<key id="61479">nextsubtitle</key>
<key id="61660">playpause</key>
<key id="61448">stop</key>
</keyboard>
</fullscreenvideo>
</keymap>
And the IR codes :
- web = 61660
- 1 = 61478
- 2, 7, 9, 0 = 61952
- 3 = 61474
- 4 = 61479
- 5 = 61480
- 6 = 61617
- 8 = 61473
- 1/A = 61585
- clear = 61448
- return = 61467
- home = 61622
- mute = 61623
- menu = 61656
- volume down = 61624
- volume up = 61625
As you can see, you can use a single key in different places (fullscreenvideo / global, for example).
So is there no way to add or alter kodi commands to my remote control? Are the buttons on the original remote control of my mini M8S II the only ones I can use in your build?
Hi
I'm using a Mini M8S II with a Harmony 650.
What I did was using unneeded buttons to map custom commands :
- 'web' = audionextlanguage
- '1/A' = nextsubtitle
and so on
Hi kszaq
I went from 11/26 to 11/29 build, and I can't hear anymore the clic/pop I had 1 minute after playing a video (I use S/PDIF passthtrough to a DTS only receiver, so I can't test HD audio). No video issue (I've tested a few x264/x265 files).
Hi kszaq
thanks for your answer. Unfortunatly, with that setting I cannot read x265 anymore, screen is corrupted :
Hi kszaq
I've noticed a very positive change with the latest build : when scrolling horizontally (from videos to movies to tv shows, etc.) with the Amber skin, I used to have a small lag (tested with 7.02.008 -> 11/24 build). With 11/26 build, it's much smoother
I've flashed it, CPU temp is displayed (49°) on my Mini M8S II (see sig).
Let's now play some x264/x265
Hi kszaq
is is the 11/26 build already downloadable ?
Hi kszaq
I've tested 11/25 with a few x264/x265 local files, so far no issue.
