there is at least Paragon that can read/write at Ext2/3/4 from Windows (shareware)
I was using Paragon NTFS on MacOS 10.x to 10.4 (because Mac OS could Not write to NTFS) also Paragon HFS+ on Windows. Was working fine at that time.

Some drobo products can be configurated as DAS maybe He is using such a device. Or He is using jbod...
LE Supports NTFS.
NTFS Limit is 256tb disk/Volume size.
It should be okay.
I Had the same issues on some systems. Only with hibernate/suspend and mostly, If HPET (High Precision Timers) were active in BIOS. I Set HPET to Off by default since years on Linux based HTPC's. HPET was/is also the Problem for a System Not waking Up using RTC Alarm (eg for a Timer recording).
On some Mainboards I had also to try different states (eg s1 to s5).
Or the wife didn't wait for the TV to be ready when Starting the HTPC.
I prefer using power Off since years. LE Starts Up fast (faster than some receivers and stb's) and I never Had such Problems again. On NUC's I use CEC to Power on the TV works fine.

I'm a bit sad that I was mentioned as last...
However, there are even more LE team people behind the scenes who have done, and are still doing, great work.
wasn't ment so! The Position means nothing!
Alone the fact you Setup your Ion Gear to Check that LE 9 is working on that Hardware for a User was a great move!

All the staff also Users are great!

...Either way, this device would have been much better if they had just skipped the silly 2.5gbit and 5gbit standards and gone with an established and reliable gigabit Intel NIC. Realtek is never anything but disappointing, even when you have driver support...
Yeah, but Intel is also using Realtek NIC's in the NUC's maybe because the NIC's are cheaper than their own. A shame...
ASRock in the Other hand is mostly using Intel NIC's....

I built an image with included RTL8125B kernel patches and firmware.
Great! Thank you!
Now a friend of Mine can use it without an USB to Ethernet Adapter.

Nicolas
Odroid H2+ was also on my list but at the Moment the NIC isn't supported in mainline Kernel. Should be there with Kernel 5.9.
Odroid H2+, Realtek RTL8125B drivers
smp Made a build with the Patches for the NIC.
Btw. IMHO the Image quality on Intel x86 is better than what I saw on the N2 with KODi/Coreelec tested 1:1 on the Same TV.
The best Image quality I saw from a "TV Box" with KODi so far was from the vero4k+ on par with Intel but, that's a subjectiv opinion.
I am about to order an Odroid N2+ 4gb for Testing.

Have libreelec running on two old computers. Latest version of generic x64 build. Both worked flawlessly until I just upgraded from a netgear router to an orbi mesh system.
Hello warrenjb
Sounds Like the new Wireless is the Problem.
Do you have trouble connecting Other devices Like cell phones Notebooks to the new Router, too?

I joined to also post that none of these fixes worked on braswell
have rolled back to 8.2.5
No Problem Here ASRock n3700m with 9.23 ,build it for a friend years ago as AIO HTPC with dual TV Tuners 240 SSD and 4TB HD. First with a nv gt730 since KODi 18 with onboard GPU.
Only two Things...
1. i had to use DVI to HDMI cable instead of the HDMI port to get the Audio working.
2. The onboard GPU Had Problems with mcdi and Lanczos3.
But yes Video was somewhat smoother in 8.25 and didn't stutter running in Background while browsing in the library.

Hello daghy
Could it be your 25fps content ist interlaced?
Do you have Set a deinterlacer?
Also Viewing 25hz at 60hz Resolution will stutter.
I use VAAPI MCDI (MotionCompensation)
As HQ scaler for SD Lanczos3
As non HQ scaler next neighbor
HD 500+ GPU is also able to do Lanczos3 in HD.
And Set KODi refresh rate to 50hz for Europe or 60hz for US. It should Work.
No more troubles since this hint!
Running multiple n37xx j34xx j/n4xxx and 5xxx Mainboards and NUCs.

When I tried rebooting with an SD card running full blown Raspbian, I tried using the gparted command. That failed, because it said the partition was too big for the "msdos" partition table. It appears that I need to convert to the "gpt" type partition table? Is that right? How do I do that and not lose the content of the drive?
Hello!
If you want to use g(ui)parted you have to Install it first.
Raspian command Line:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install gparted
Sudo startx (gparted needs root)
Then Run gparted

Hello!
Die you try Ctrl-alt-F1?

Hello Jocke!
No need to buy 8gb for KODi only.
AFAIK There is only a Point that KODi does Not Show all 8gb only 4gb. But from LE all 8gb can be used for docker etc.
