Display MoreWhat's your budget? Aliexpress deals are tonight, check my previous posts. that's as high end as you can get , it will be virtually silent and you can change the TDP to like 12W in bios and change fan curve to turn on when it hits like 55 degrees. it would be silent. it depends on where you live, since I can't get that box in UK and have the GMKtek K12 as an offer instead. the K12 is much beefier cooling design. I think both will be silent as hell, but first what's your budget, have you shopped in aliexpress before and where in world you live like in the USA?
So It seems you get an extra $60 offer!

he $60 off you are already seeing on your screen is the automatic "Spend & Save" or store discount. The image shows code USD1160, which is a Multi-store coupon that you can enter manually at checkout to get an additional $60 off, because your order is $367 (which satisfies the $339+ requirement).

If this is true, you get the h255 firebat for $247 DAMN, sale starts 11pm USA time, get it in your basket
I am in US, yea. Budget is about $300ish but considering waiting for Black Friday “proper” in terms of exclusively passively cooled options. I can go a bit less hardware grunt if it will still have enough overhead. Basically wondering if something like n300 (or AMD equivalent) would be good enough in that regard, as I’ve seen some fanless models with that one (though usually pricier as a result ofc).
& I know from experience that I am *extremely* sensitive to even the least fan noise, ha, especially when watching something. I have an n150 Protectli machine I use for proxmox, Opnsense, etc. now and it has spoiled me (only has hdmi 1.4, though, so not the best for this use case).
Also no knock on Aliexpress but I have not shopped there before, no. I will certainly consider your previously posted option though, thanks!
