I had exactly the same problem as Duncan. My RPI5 running Libreelec Stable and Nightly would somehow lose its connection overnight every Day.
Under System -> System Information and System -> Libreelec -> Connections, as well as on the router, everything was shown as online and connected. But I couldn’t download anything in Libreelec or access the PVR or SMB via my laptop due to a lack of connectivity. The same thing happened when using a FritzWLAN dongle. Multiple reinstallations of Stable and Nightly with different settings were unsuccessful.
But for the past three days, it has been working perfectly again (both Stable and Nightly). Previously, under System -> Libreelec -> Network, I always set the flag to ‘German’ under ‘Wireless Regulatory Domain’ and encountered connection issues. Now I’ve left it set to ‘Not Set (Default)’ and it’s working again without any problems.
