I'm exactly in the same situation : I want to install LibreELEC on a specific partition of my Mac Mini (late 2012), while keeping MacOS.
I installed LibreELEC on another drive, and then I copied the 2 partitions to the Mac. When I try to boot into LibreELEC, then the logo appears and I jump into a debugging shell. I never manage to boot up.
It says :
"***Error in mount_storage: mount_common: Could not mount UUID=d2f120b6[...]83 ***
### Starting debugging shell for boot step: mount_storage... type exit to quit ###"
I can boot into LibreELEC with an external drive, and it works perfectly, so I know that it works with my Mac Mini.
What do you mean by "create a new NVRAM entry using efibootmgr" ?
What is the procedure for completing the installation ?
