I have a generic S905X Android TV box that is currently soft-bricked.
Board Details:
- Board ID: BHY-MPEG-06G_VER1.0
- CPU: Amlogic S905X
- NAND: BGA type (has no legs to short)
- Reset: No physical button inside AV out.
The Issue:
I flashed Aidan's Universal v9 (S905X) using USB Burning Tool using USB C to A cable. The flash completed 100% successfully. However, upon reboot, I get a Blue Screen / No Signal on HDMI.
The PC fails to detect the device in Amologic Burning Tool, even when I try shorting the Golden Pads shown in the photos.
What I Tried:
- SD Card Boot: Created a bootable SD card using Burn Card Maker. Nothing happens.
- Shorting: Since the NAND chip has no legs, I cannot short the pins there. I rely on the test points on the board?
Can someone help me find the correct Test Point / Shorting Pin for this specific BHY-MPEG-06G board?
Is there a specific resistor I need to short to force Mask ROM mode on this PCB layout?
Or is it dead dead?
