    A "bug" in LE 13 (might be present in 12)

    settings-libreelec-connections-wired-edit-DNS servers

    You can not change the DNS settings. You first have to set ipv4-dhcp to manual (no need to save) then change DNS, and then set to dhcp again. Otherwise error message: "changing this option is not allowed"

    I have this 871129219935 grundig IR remote control I wish to use on my LE 13 le potato.

    The wiki has instructions - I don't understand what it is what I am supposed to do to get the remote working with LE. I have the keymap editor plugin, but can't seem to have the remote talk with it.

    Can anyone please help with GUI instructions how to have this remote work with LE? Thanks!

    OpenVPN works fine but lots of people (mostly folks that fell for the 'privacy' BS marketing of VPN services and have no real-world need for VPN in the first place) don't make the effort to learn basic commands and instead search for add-ons that allegedly make it easy (but under-the-hood mostly complicate it).

    In short:

    • Save/store/place your OpenVPN conf file (and if not embedded in the conf, the cert files) in /storage/.config
    • Create a systemd service for OpenVPN in /storage/.config/system.d/ that executes OpenVPN with an explicit path to the OpenVPN conf file in /storage/.config - You can use the wireguard example file to crib 95% of the required content.
    • Enable and then Start the systemd service and you should have a working and persistent OpenVPN connection

    This works for any OpenVPN service.

    /shrug

    People search for add-ons because there is no simple copy-paste step-by-step guide which includes all the steps and commands, and does not assume one knows or finds out bits of information in other places ^^

    I know circumventing geo-blocked content is not officially supported by libreelec, but seriously, a simple copy-paste step-by-step guide including all the steps would help a lot of people, both for wireguard and openvpn. :heart:

    HP qwerty keyboard has volume controls as follows:

    F7 = mute
    F8 = lower volume
    F9 = increase volume

    LibreELEC on a LePotato board, the keys behave as:

    F8 = mute
    F9 = lower volume
    F10 = increase volume

    How/where do I correct this mapping?

    Also, is there a way to use a mouse (like the wheel of the mouse) for sound control? This way I do not need to keep a keyboard around all the time.

    Yeah, I figured as much and it was only noticeable on my TV.

    Since you mentioned the RK3576 boards, I was reading this: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/friendlyelec-nanopi-r76s/236429

    From a performance and cost standpoint it is less powerful than the R6C/R6S but more powerful than the R5C and R3S. DTS files for the Rockchip RK3576 are already in the mainline kernel so it shouldn't be difficult to get OpenWRT running on it either.

    Just curious if this also applies to LibreElec ?

    Came to this post as it mentions R3S

    There is the NanoPi R3S LTS which has HDMI on RK3566. See https://www.friendlyelec.com/index.php?rout…&product_id=311

    Any chance it may ever be supported by libreelec?
