    a)Ethernet - no USB

    b)no Ethernet - USB yes

    c) No ehternet - No USB

Actually in all three cases above I did not see wlan0 from internal Wifi card

Then I did a trick with removing tar.gz file with drivers from firmware folder. Then I copied it again, I had USB wlan1 Wifi connected. Boot it again and wlan0 is visible in side of wlan1 (see both USB and Internal):

No ethernet - USB yes - drivers added again to firmware

After above, I took out USB card, rebooted and now again I do not see any wlan.

    Hi,

I use HP t620 computer to run Libreelec and I have some problems with my WiFi PCI-e card.

When I first time started Libreelec 12.0.2 I had no internet. System did not see any wlan card. So I used some other old USB WiFi adapter I had (it works very bad, but at least I was able to connect). I added drivers downloaded from Broadcom website to firmware folder (according wiki tutorial). I rebooted Libreelec (additional WiFi adapter was still plugged in). And I managed to see wlan0 and wlan1.

The Broadcom WiFi card work well. However if I reboot Libreelec without other connection (either wired or USB WiFi) then Broadcom card disappears. This is frustrating as I want to use only internal pci-e card. When I reboot and Libreelec is connected through ethernet then, there is no problem.

I am actually not sure if the drivers I put to the firmware folder has anything to do with that. Or the main factor is the additional connection during startup?

If the Broadcom Pci-e is not the best card, then what other I should buy to have WiFi and BT?

Sorry I really do not know how to edit previous posts, that is why I am spamming with new ones .

I solved a problem w Broadcam drivers. I was able to connect internet with external USB WiFi card (some really old gigabyte). I used method with Samba file access. Just follow wiki, put driver file into firmware folder and reboot Libreelec. Now I have WiFi through internal Broadcam card.

I do not know how to edit post. But I managed to install Libreelec on my t620.

So the steps I had to take:

    1. Create liveUSb with Libreelec Tool

    2. Copy files which were on created USB drive to some other folder

    3. Create bootable USB with Rufus. Use Syslinux 6.04

    4. Copy Libreelec files back, but keep Rufus created files back

    5. Plug USB drive to T620 and boot LiveUSb with error which I mentioned above

    6. In failed bootloader I use blkid command to read UUID

    7. Take out liveUSB from t620 and plug to other PC and edit syslinux.cfg file with replacing UUID with the one I checked above .

    8. Plug again to T620, bolt USb and voilà everything works.

So now I have Libreelec installed t620. However I found other problem. The system does not recognize my WiFi. As I see it is Broadcam BCM43228.

Do you know how can I add drivers for this chip?

I still do not understand how to install grub on other disc from LiveUSB.

However I made some progress. I am able to boot USB w Libreelec boot menu.

I see options: installer, live, run

However now my problem is that I have error: Could not mount UUID=1901-3952

    What I did is:

I run Libreelec liveUSb creator. Then I copied files from USB drive to my desktop.

Then I used Rufus to install syslinux 6.04. And then copied Libreelec files back.

That allows me to boot USB, and see syslinux.cfg. however when I start to install Libreelec the problem described above happens.

In that case probably in the T620 bios could be something (boot settings). Did you tried to turn secure boot off, and legacy boot on?

I tried different settings. I can see my USB pendrive, I can boot other systems (Ubuntu), however Libreelec USB does not boot..

chewitt Thanks for advice, I will confirm if I have latest BIOS firmware. Regarding Libreelec installation from Ubuntu live USB. I need to copy only those 2 files into boot folder?

In case of grub. Could you explain me little bit more about grub2 installation? I am beginner level in Linux systems. I know what is grub2, but I am not familiar with setting it. I will use Ubuntu live USB and there is grub2 bootloader. But as I understand you advise me to install grub2 into same boot folder which I need to create manually (the one where I will put KERNEL and SYSTEM files?). What I should do with syslinux.cfg file? Sorry for noob questions, but this is my level of knowledge unfortunately...

Nevertheless, thanks for help. I also hope that my case will help others in the future.

    Hi,

at first I want to introduce myself. I am from Poland and I am totally new in Libreelec. I registered here because I have an issue with installing Libreelec on T620 machine.

The problem I have is that I created USB with Libreelec USB/SD creator tool. I used this file:LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-12.0.2.img.gz. I change BIOS settings to allow legacy BOOT in BIOS settings. BIOS is recognizing my USB but it does not boot. I have error saying "no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed". I know that people use HP T620 with Libreelec so the question is how to install it?

I also tried the same USB with Ubuntu and it starts normally. I just want to say that I am really basic user of linux. But I want to install Kodi on this T620 becuase I would like to use it as cheap media center. I do not want to have anything else than Kodi on it. So when anyone will turn on then Kodi will open automatically.

Thanks in advance and Best Regards
