    Update 20170225.
Checked on MIIIPlus - wired network is working, WiFi - working both range, BT works. In the settings there is items for the sound in 5.1 and SPDIF, but I have no such equipment, so can't check.

As part of your image there is a file "boot.scr" to activate the multi-boot on the Minix models.

Attention. In the latter case the image LE in the shutdown menu has several additional items. Mode reboot into Recovery - restart the TV box to factory system Recovery. Reboot with the install LE in the internal memory, restarts the system and executes the copy (install) the LE in the internal memory (without needing to use SSH). In this setup, the internal memory will be copied all the settings that are made when you run the system from that external media. Pay attention to the installation procedure in the internal memory test and possible unforeseen outcomes. Therefore, we strongly suggest to use this function only if You will have confirmation of the correct operation of this function on Your TV box, You just know that I will be able to restore the TV box when not full-time results.

By the way, a question to those who are well versed in KODI how to bind menu items to a specific file on the media ? I studied the documentation on creating my menu in KODI, and couldn't find the check a specific file for the parameter <visible>

To activate the multi-boot on Minix. You need to manually create on the SD card directory "/boot" and transfer the file "boot.src" that would be so "/boot/boot.src". After that activate multi-boot method of a toothpick.

But I just do that and ended on filesystem corruption error like I said .

Have you tried to run from a USB flash drive ?

Hey balbes! I can't get my wifi and bluetooth working on AKASO M8S. It's using a rtl8723bs combo chip.
Could you update kodi to it's latest version? There're RC versions. You're using beta version. :)

Thank you so so much for your efforts!

Try the latest version of the image 20170224, there KODI (RC 17.1).

Minix don't have multiboot. I tried to install LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-8.0.1.img with boot.scr in boot folder on sdcard.

Is there some reason no one will respond?

What prevents You to test it ? Perhaps others do not have such module.

Installed latest version on Minix x8h plus and no wifi. I was updated from LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-8.0.0 installed on internal flash. Also tried to dual boot from extern sdcard but stock on file system corruption error.

If You have enabled multiboot, You can use to write and run LE USB stick (for testing). They are easier to use and less mistakes.

This is a known problem of poor compatibility, SD card slot and built-in card reader. I know of only one way to solve is to find a working SD card (which would normally work with a particular instance of TV box).
You can try to patch the kernel to improve the drivers for the SD card.

    Balbes,

the DVD works OK with your 'standard kernel'. I could pair bluetooth devices also, that's OK to.

I saw on your github account you made a branch for the ****** Vim is it still WIP or can it be compiled?

This is a test version for a specific model.

Balbes, I have installed LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-7.0.3.3_20170208 on my MXIII G. I couldn't get past the Google TV boot loop until I put the sd card into a usb reader, which then booted into LE. After that, I could use the sd card slot to boot into LE. When I do so I can briefly see the top half of an LE logo before LE boots into the Confluence skin. I cannot add any other skin. LE appears to work apart from an audio problem. I cannot get analog audio when playing videos. I can hear analog audio using the Confluence menu, just no sound on videos apart from a squeaky distorted sound during conversation.

Can you suggest another image that may work? Thank you very much for your work on the 812 models.

Try to write the image to a USB flash drive and run from it. Usually this behavior LE is associated with bad media.

    1) I tried different DVD's. They worked previously. Strang thing is: I don't get the 'play dvd' on the menu, but it mounts in videos -> files. You know with the video_ts dir.
    2) 7.0.3 lan 1000 with your modified kernel.
    3) Did run it from SD, maybe the SD is to slow to handle that? I used a 8gig sandisk extreme pro UHS-1

Try to test run the DVD version without modifications to the core. Maybe when I changed the kernel configuration, I changed the support. To start the system to check with any carrier, it does not matter.

    Therefore, my questions are:
    - Is this possible to add support for the AP62X2 chipset (wifi/bluetooth)?
    - How the 4k resolution problem can be fixed?
    - Is there a way to enable the HDMI input of this device in LibreELEC (chipset Silicon Image SIL9293)?
    - Do you plan to release an updated LibreELEC 8 (Krypton) firmware soon?

    1. Add support for WiFi - maybe, but is sorely lacking time, so when this happens, I don't know.
    2. I don't have 4K, so I can't check what the problem is. If i find ready-made patches - I will try to add.
    3. Version Krypton - may be updated, but I don't know when I'll find time for this.

Has anyone had issues playing HVEC videos? I get some serious white pixelation when playing them. I have an M8S with S812 2G/16G.
