I wonder anyway if that 4K output will be possible, using the SLICE board.

Yes 4K is possible, tested at 24p to my Samsung TV with Kodi (see https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=388684). So happy to be getting more use out of my FiveNinjas Slice with CM4S.
