I'm trying to install this image on a nuc ivy bridge. My TV is reporting the resolution is invalid, and no picture is displayed. I've tried a clean install from loading the image onto a USB, and at boot the installer doesn't even display. I've also tried with a clean libreelec 8 install and copying the tar file into the update folder - it installs, but then when it reboots it has the same display error.

The pc is an Intel nuc ivy bridge i3. Libreelec 8 reports the video is mesa dri Intel ivybridge mobile. Opengl version 3.0 mesa 13.0.6.

Is this fixable?

For anyone who is using another skin like me (aeon mq7 mod)

I have created a shortcut addon to start Emulationstation, Spotify and Chrome

Just install the correct addon and launch the addon from anywhere

I did a fresh install but when i want to launch dolhpin it does nothing
in the dolphin.log i find this

When i launched a game with retroarch trough emulationstation and then quit the game trough retroarchmenu
i only get a black screen and that is all
when i login with ssh and go to /usr/bin/kodifreeze.sh unfreeze.
Kodi boots again
Any idea ?
i installed the latest update. remote is working normally now, update before nuc recieved 2 presses from buttonpress on remote

hmmm still a crash when i run a game trough RA and then close it
alsof tried with normal skin

anyone else has this problem ?

You must edit the es_system.conf
\\LIBREELEC\Configfiles\emulationstation\es_system.cnf

In windows go to network and search for the libreelec share
Then configfiles emulationstation
The file must be there just open it with wordpad

Issues:

- random blank screens

This one is weird, Initially i thought my WiFi driver might have issue with liberelec, but all addon like youtube , downloads and other streaming addons are working fine.... but internet is not pulling metadata/pictures/details for shows/movie. I have to play movie and then stop and all meta data will appear.

- Slow SMB talk with NAS same issue (no metadata for movies/shows on my Synology NAS until i play something, no customize background pictures (photos from NAS) at main menu...
(there is no lagging or buffering playing movies from my NAS but does not show metadata).
- I cant play movies straight away from NAS (if i go into video folder kodi hungsup) have to wait 2-3 mintues until its appears on main screen (will play fine after that no issue).

I have fresh reinstalled liberelec 3 times LE and beta 7.95.2 version same issue persist.

Got NUC i3 with Kodiubuntu similar setup everything works fine.

Did you tried a reinstall with standard skin (Estuary MOD skin)
And look if the random crashes still appears

EDIT: maybe it is the memory leak.
If that is the case we need to wait till escalade update the build to the latest libreelec

I noticed the same black screen error with latest update
I think it is a skin problem with rc 4 krypton

I used advanced launcher to open chromium in that mq7 skin

Reicast core on generic works perfect, i added gb and gbc to your system list and i am busy with dosbox and scummvm now
Iinstalled the mq7 skin, it works like a charm, but i had to use advanced launcher to run chrome and emulationstation
Tried other theme's for ES but the one that comes with the package is the best i think

how can i use the scraper from sselph ?
I believe that scraper has a option to add metadata to a dir (amiga and psx) because each rom is in a different folder because of multiple dics

Edit : I dit found a workaround but then i need to change the xml by hand and change to <folders>, but still leave one <game> otherwiste it won't work at all
