    Hi there,

I have a couple of RPis and Linux boxes, one of which as an RPI 5 which includes a HifiBerry amplifier. This can support streaming to the device if I use Moode Audio for UPnP / DLNA, or Airplay, but not easily if using LibreElec. What are my options?

    1. Can I stream audio from LibreElec to a Moode Audio or other RPi?
    2. Can I stream audio to LibreElec with adaptations?
    3. Do any of the Linux options for streaming to / from support adjustments to latency in the way that Airplay does? (This would allow one box to play video, while another outputs the audio from the video that is playing.)

Thank you for any general advice you can give on these questions,

    Jim

NB: Apologies for the lack of synchronisation in posts Da Flex , I posted before I had read your query about wattage. Regarding wattage, the power supply for these units comes through the HAT and powers the RPi through the HAT; I had tested the hardware was working before posting by installing and running Moode Audio.

In case helpful, I edited /flash/config.txt and added the line dtoverlay=hifiberry-amp

For good measure, I also added dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac and dtoverlay=hifiberry-amp4

The Hifiberry-dac file did appear in System » Audio, but selecting it does not appear to produce audio output, although the advice from Hifiberry is that Hifiberry DAC drivers usually work for their Amp.

    Hi there,

I've downloaded and installed LibreElec 12 onto my RPi 5 with HifiBerry Amp4 HAT. I previously had this running fine on an RPi 4.

I've followed the instructions on overlays from the LibreElec wiki which should enable the HAT. This should present an option for the HAT in System Audio settings, but for me, does not,

I've also verified the hardware is working by installing Moode Audio and running the audio out of the Amp4 HAT.

    Any help much appreciated!
