after update my BD Remote Control (Sony PS3 remote control) was not working.
the bluetooth connection page shows connected yes, but not working (press any button at controller nothing happens). it was neccessary to plug a wired mouse.
after delete and pair (trust and connect) it works after reboot (not immediately like default). but with the next reboot same issue again.
my workaround was downgrade to previous 12.0.1 via /storage/.update and wget as described in the wiki.
with 12.0.1 no issues with the remote controller. i repeat the update again for twice to 12.0.2, exact the same problem.
using bluetoothctl at 12.0.2 the reported issue is same. i remove the device with untrust and delete and pair again with trust and connect commands.
full reset with 12.0.2 was not solved the issue, with backup and restore settings.
i was able to run the (useful) utility as follows:
2024-08-18 09:32:35.378 T:782 info <general>: ----------------------------- - Pastebin.com
note: the pastekodi command upload log with my SSID, router MAC, ... therefore i paste only the kodi.log.
i performed with the 4 test/sample files from Samples - Official Kodi Wiki
only at [1] HDR is missing, but it should be or?
note for '<algorithmdirtyregions>0</algorithmdirtyregions>'
i have the problem with subtitle stutter, therefore i set this value to 0.
but it looks like that this problem is not solved, therefore i change 'scaling_governor' to 'powersave', by autostart.sh.
default was 'schedutil'. i'll see with the next movies if still persist.
indeed, the change from 16:9 standard to custom and screen fit: auto was solved the reported issue. thanks!
did you have an idea/solution about the brightness issue?
when i play 1080p movies (tested with *.mkv and *.iso), the GUI resolution is cut, doesnt proper shows the elements at the edges. the first two photos shows playing 1080p video. the last photo 4k. with 4k movies no issues.
further, the focused/selected item is more bright, in compare of none playback. the brigtness issue happens at every movie file.
KODI GUI is set as described in the LE wiki, including whitelist and refresh rate adjust.
create log with upload to paste.libreelec.tv it's very useful, but it include a lot information about connected network.

therefore, my request herewith is to change/mod the log before upload.
i'm using the same device, with N4000 CPU. therefore i want to ask for the result.
i cannot confirm the described behaviour with dropped frames at the KODI GUI, but i like to have optimized LE for t430.
did you compile a custom image without 'projects/Generic/patches/kodi/000-temp-revert-fences.patch' ?
and did you changed the GPU frequency?
thanks in advance.
the generic 'LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-12.0.0.img.gz' is installed. HDR label is shown at the according 4K files. the samsung tv UHD color option is not working, like with legacy image, only when this option is disabled its working.
Make sure your BIOS is up-to-date. If your hardware support page offers video driver updates, install the latest. They sometimes include firmware for the LSPCon driver. You probably need Windows to install those updates.
However, as next i'll install the Generic LE, i'll report the outcome.
next question is raised ... w/o UHD Color no HDR is available.
samsung shows the info only with UHD and the HDR label is missing.
as i understand, only Intel UHD 620 and newer is with HDR?
the UHD 600 is able to decode HEVC h265 8 and 10 bit, so it should have HDR?
when i install the (none legacy) generic will i get HDR?
Goto General->External Device Manager->HDMI UHD Color (or Input Signal Plus on newer models) and disable it.
WOW, thanks many times for this hint and for your help!
After disable the mentioned option the KODI was appears immediately. I see under system > display > resolution 3840x2160p with rate 60. And now, the 4K movie runs fine.
But i'll check further after apply the mentioned settings from wiki pages, like whitelist.
Once again, THANKS!
What TV? Samsung?
yes
