    Hello!

I'm running Libreelec 9.2.6 (Kodi 18.9 Leia) because i'm running Kodi on a RPi Zero W, largely in kiosk mode. I'd very much like to make it as hands off as possible by playing videos from local storage automatically on startup.

I'm fairly confident I followed the guidance from the Kodi Wiki for Autoexec Service line by line. However, when I go into the UI to enable the service, I receive the following error: This addon is not compatible with this version of Kodi.

Is there another solution to autoplay videos on startup? Or is there something else I need to do to use this service with this older version of Kodi?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you so much chewitt

Gave that a go, but I'm getting the same result. Kodi seems to appear to receive the command and the player loading icon even spins for a moment, but ultimately fails to play. I'm able to play the same file from the Kodi UI.

I'm using on older Kodi (18.9 Leia) because I'm running this on a Pi Zero W. Wondering if this is an issue with the Home Assistant Kodi integration and the older version of Kodi. Perhaps a bug in the Play Media service.

I'll look to pull logs on both and see if that illuminates it further.

    Hello! First time caller.

I have LibreELEC installed on a Raspberry Pi Zero W for a very limited, almost decorative use-case. I'd like to keep files on the MicroSD card and use Home Assistant triggers to play different files under different conditions.

I've searched far and wide and can't seem to divine the file path to these files so that Home Assistant can play them. I've uploaded them to the default "Videos" folder that appears on my network when accessing Kodi and I'm able to see and play the files from the Kodi UI, but can't get the files to play via a remote command from Home Assistant. I'm integrated correctly. I can control other aspects of my Kodi instance in Home Assistant, but have not been able to find the right file path to get media play.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
