All changes will be done in next LE release. it's at reviewing point on LE master github.
So for the moment will just have to use 1.1.5 waiting until the changes are pushed up. Just a matter of time....

Looking at Github: it seems to be a huge update, even a namechange and the need to deinstall the old plugin. I guess we should wait until the plugin is available under the LE Repo and then install after removing the old plugin. I guess configs will get lost too when moving to the "new" plugin?
Yes, you will loose config as wrote in GitHub , so brand new install and new config is needed, but you can choice if you want to install the addon from LE repo or the GitHub manual installation , but in the GitHub ( untill today ) there's only the source code only and not the zip install. Surly we will see the LE addon and the installer from github in a few days. Will need time , even on other assets the source came before and later the installer ,so ..guess will have to wait.. must say thanks he did a good job making this addon and setup directly on LE repo !

Must say a word .
Very professional 👍👍
This project was developed really fast , clean code, and the roadmap in the libreelec repo is very important.
At 8.00 a.m system tools was updated and all fully working.
This is my opinion. Must thank you for all time you spent here. 👍

Hi, 1.1.5 to be compiled on GitHub ?
-
Tested on pi5 8g argon v3 nvme. really great. button works perfect.
tested on rpi4 8g argon v2 sata nvme . was running 1.1.2 before. fan ok . button fantastic. no delay on reboot or shutdown.
I cant say much more on curves or so because argon cases and LE will never pass 40 celsius.
With thermal paste instead of thermal pad you get some points less. no way to go over 39.
Thanks, really a good job. believe nothing else is needed, it's very well done....

Currently I have no plans to support RaspiOS too. There are many reasons that speak against it:
- with a normal OS the fan control should be enabled system-wide, power button too
- system-wide solutions are already available: argon1.sh, Argon One Daemon …
- no spare system to test
- available time
- …
True. It's a LE addon. stop.
And surly no time for other projects is true too.
If it would be easy and doesn't take so much time to do, just push up the zip in the LE repo would be good for everyone . But I understand you if this is too complicated.

Maybe this addon could this be added to the LE repo ?

I have to say that this is a really great job you are doing !

Until now I only provided ready to install add-on packages here (attachments are at the end of the text):
PostRE: [RPi4] Argon One Case Shutdown
Please be aware:
I'm not a developer of KODI Add-ons. This is only a result of someone who had the wish to get the Add-on work again with LibreELEC 10 and later.
what it does:- supports LibreELEC 11 + 12 Nightly
- supports Argon One V1/2 (RPi4)
- supports Argon One V3 (RPi5)
- enables IR Receiver (V2/V3, or if self added to V1 pcb)
- enables Argon REMOTE support (rc_maps + keymap)
- fan control
- graceful shutdown (power button commands: Reboot , Shutdown ...)
For full support of the power button commands with a…

So I don't really know what you are talking about and need more details with an exact version and, if necessary, a link to the debug log.
Perhaps you tried the original version 0.0.1 from Argon, which is known that it not working with versions, which are newer than LibreELEC 9?My error. i download the zip from github and was installing it direct. but was failing the installation, just later i realized that there was a file attached in post 2 with the right one. installed perfect now. thanks

Ok I realized now that if I download from the second page the 0.0.0.14 beta2.zip works fine.
I thought that on the GitHub was the same thing as many plugins ready to install..maybe not
