LE not show any update notification yet.
LibreELEC -> Updates -> Show Update Notification is on.
I have this problem on RPI4, RPI5. Also tested with a clean installation (RPI4), no notification too.
It's not a big problem, you can check the Updates manually but would be cool if it works for future Updates.
Anyone else the same Problem or does it work for anyone on RPI?
Alright, I'm keeping an eye on it. Thanks for the info.
There are no update notifications from LE. In general, the notifications from LE work. If you download an update manually, messages about the successful download from LE are displayed. In my DNS I see successful access to:
(I think they should be used by LE to check updates). Does anyone have the same Problem? I'm not sure if it's a bug or an individual problem in my system.
One more little information: If you are not upgrading from Kodi 19, please note, that there was a major update to a new Python version in Kodi 19. For Installations before 19 a complete reinstallation is the best way and almost unavoidable. Klick Here for Info
Yes.
1. LibreELEC Configuration -> System -> Backup -> Create System and Kodi Backup
2. Clean Install RPI5 with LE Image + Basic Konfiguration
3. LibreELEC Configuration -> System -> Backup -> Import System and Kodi Backup
Works very well. I do that too.
I use the Estuary Mod v2 -> Git
with RPI4 or RPI5 with 4GB Ram works well.
2GB RAM is simply not enough for this Skin.
At system startup approximately 750 of 2000 MB Ram are used. When I start a video RAM is allocated for caching but is not released after the video is stopped. The Problem is: After starting or playing several videos the RAM fills up to the maximum and the GUI finally freezes because there is obviously no memory left.Unfortunately, in the log you only see symptoms like “cannot write thumbnail” or “stream error” depending on which action caused the freeze.
I have the problem with 2x RPI4. RPI5 with LE 11.95, 4GB Ram same Configuration works without any problems.
