Hello,
I am new to LibreELEC and Kodi and of course I am new to this forum, too. So first of all a big Thank You for all the work that you are doing with LibreELEC and your support to the community.
My devices are:
Raspberry Pi 5 with 8GB of memory,
Samsung GQ43Q60BAU 4K TV
Cablecc Micro-HDMI to HDMI 2.1 Ultra-HD UHD 8K 60Hz 4K 120Hz 48GB cableI installed LibreELEC-RPi5.arm-11.0.6.img.gz with no modifications to config.txt.
The desktop resolution is set to 1080p @ 60 fps.The mode whitelist that is mentioned in the wiki section "4K/HDR" is not available in Kodi under Settings -> System -> Display.
Then I included "hdmi_enable_4kp60=1" in config.txt. The mode whitelist is still not available in Settings -> System -> Display.
I also tried this with LibreELEC-RPi5.aarch64-12.0-nightly-20240205-690684c.img.gz
Now my questions:
Is the whitelist no longer available and the reference in the wiki is obsolete?
With my hardware setup (see above) should I care about whitelisting at all?
