    Good morning you awesome people! I was wondering if there is someone here that has an environment setup where they can sign android apks and zip files? I've been reading what demetris has said about keeping the stock bootloader, unfortunately i have to flash in the following way
    Flash android ROM
    Flash openelec 6 by ipodtouchdude
    Flash libreelec 7 devel
    Update to demetris libreelec 8
    Unfortunately openelec 6 contains a bootloader.img and so overwrites the android one. If i delete it from the zip it will fail to flash, I've tried deleting the included one and injecting the android one but that fails to flash.
    I've tried signing it with
    Apk zip signer 1.2
    Various android apps that say they do it but none seem to work.
    The only thing i can say is when i open ipodtouchdudes image or android ROM it says in the zip, signed by signapk, whenever i try it, it never says that.
    I've extracted ipodtouchdudes changed to bootloader for the android one and zipped it again, is there anyone who could sign it for me so i can flash it, all i want to do is keep my stock bootloader lol how hard can it be hahahahaha

    Good morning Demetris just to let you know i update to your latest release (15th) and i must say is working very well. Remote and WiFi work, my external Bluetooth works well, you have fixed the "failed to load kernal module" on boot error i kept seeing.
    All in all job VERY well done my friend

    Ffs pressed wrong button and submitted before was finished.
    Download notepad++ and try opening it and crating a new file but as you save it remove the .txt
    I'm gutted I can't just upload it for you buy I suffered hard drive failure the other day and still.not been able to fix it yet

    Make windows show file extension's. Create a new text file and name it .nocompat which will then automatically save it as .nocompat.txt, right click on it then click rename and remove the .txt part and press enter. Windows will then kick off but just click OK or save. It should then become a different icon meaning windows does not recognise it and should now be named .nocompat

    If you can get openelec to install create the .nocompat file on a pc and use a USB flash drive to copy it a long withe the update .tar to your box using kodi file manager. Just make sure you have enabled "show hidden files and folders" once done reboot box and it should update

    The m8 one. I originally updated from openelec using the .tar from an early release of Demetris's.
    Then when he switched to the S8X2 images I had to put a file called .nocompat along side the .tar.
    I have not installed Demetris's latest release yet but as of the release before everything was working nicely.
    It must also be noted as I said before my box is a M8c variant called the TRMK1 which were manufactured for a forum I used about 3 years ago

    I have a TRMK1 which is an M8c variant which uses the rtl8188 WiFi chip,
    I've not tried the latest image you have released but the one before everything worked for me
    WiFi
    Bluetooth
    Etherley
    Remote.
    If it's not to much issue could you possibly add a,b,c to the end of your releases please. I've suffered full hdd failure today so I now have no backups or dates of releases from you

    If no WiFi option is showing it means the needed WiFi driver is not included, Demetris would need to know your WiFi chip in order to maybe be able to fix it in a future release.
    As for the remote not working have you got a copy of the remote.config? If so copy it to storage/.Config folder and reboot box. If you don't have a copy of it you may need to try find one, there is a thread in here somewhere that's for remotes and config files have a look in there, you maybe Lucky and find one.

    It would appear bluejay has the same box maybe ask if he can talk you through it as I've never had one of those so not 100% in the correct process but normally place the files (normally 1 or 2 files) on the root of an SD card and then reboot your box to recovery where it should auto install and reboot.
    If you're already on a libreelec then you can just place the .Tar update file in storage/.Update and just reboot box normally

    @Bluejay you may have to make a FILE called .nocompat and place it in your .Update folder along side the .Tar for the update.
    Make sure it does NOT end up .nocompat.txt

    Including WiFi, Bluetooth and remote!!!

    Hi Demetris that boot.img is that the "board file" you were referring to when i asked about changing the led colour as my box displays red while on and green while off?
    If it is would it still be ok for me to upload it to see if you could possibly patch it in the future if you get chance?

    My box is a TRMK1 (M8C)
    I've not got round to installing latest update yet as I've been sorting out my daughter's rpi 3 so she can duel boot between libreelec and retropie. I will install latest image this evening.
