    Hi all,

I've updated the SteamLink launcher to support the latest LibreELEC 12 release on the Pi 5. I (hope) that the Pi 4 will also work, but at this time it is untested.

There's still an issue being triggered somewhere within SteamLink itself (Supplied by Valve) that is causing a kernel oops when launching. The workaround is to unplug any USB devices while launching SteamLink. Once started, you should be able to plug the USB device back in, and everything should hopefully work.

    Cheers,

dtech That looks like a kernel crash to me.

Has anything changed in your environment since December when it was working?

    • Updated LibreELEC?
    • Different raspberry pi? (3 vs 4)

I'm not sure what to suggest other than perhaps trying to update SteamLink in the application. (There should be an option in the settings dialog). It should fetch the latest SteamLink + dependencies.

Hopefully this resolves the issues, as I can't reproduce it here (Typical developer response. "It works on my machine")
