really?
and why isn't it as stable as libreelec 8.90.1?
i never had freezing with it. with core elect box freezes once per day.
The link you pasted was for older builds of what is now named CoreELEC.I have no idea why it isnt working on your box, and if you have major issues with the new one you should post on the github with logs what your issues are, maybe they can sort them out.
There is a new version coming out soon as well, so maybe you can wait till that one? -
Just FYI, anyone using CE, the new CoreELEC version 8.90.2 will be released shortly.

A small experience Story:
I felt asleep while 4k tv channel was running via DVBViewer Addon.
Thunderstorm came.
Poor Signal.
I woke up.
Picture Frozen.
I tried to switch the Channel 2-3 Times.
Nothing happens.
Then the Box didn't respond to Inputs anymore.
I SSHed into the Box and did a "reboot".
It shutted down but didnt came back.
I had to disconnect and reconnet the Power Plug.
Nice poem!
Has anyone asked you what box you have?
Thunderstorm might have fried your box or the ram, or the SD card, could be a hundred reasons, I would get a really decent power board and also a better quality AML box. -
are you updated through tar file or install the fresh system through Img?
I did a fresh install, i thought it was time and would also reduce the chance of issues.
Used Rufus to 'burn' the Image on the microSD and bingo, was pretty easy. -
I have just installed the new CoreElec build from Releases · CoreELEC/CoreELEC · GitHub and hats off to the devs, its running really nicely on my 905 Box, videos are playing well and smoothly and i havent been able to crash it yet!

Firstly have to same I'm in love with libreelec.
Installed it on a Chromebox and its running perfectly.I am using a little sound brick via headphone line out of the chromebox running into the line in on the sound brick which I switch on beforehand, and when Libreelec boots / shuts down, there is a loud popping / click noise before the kodi loads, and also when it all shuts off.
Is there any way to remove the noise, aside from turning the sound brick on after kodi has loaded?
