No, it needs to be compiled with the right options. The fix is in LE12/13 nightlies for a while so just update to the current one?
Correct it is working in LE13 with nightlies. Was just wondering if the option could be manually set to fix a non LE Kodi for now.

Is there anyway to edit a conf to disable the SSL requirement in the interim? I know this might not be the best place to post the question since it's confirmed as a Kodi issue. However figured I'd ask in case it might be a simple line I could toss in or in comment.

Sorry I had a personal issue.
when I first upgraded it didn't work. Without troubleshooting I swapped back to 5/30 but still wasn't able to connect.
Log showed too many attempts.
Restarted SQL confirmed library working. Swapped to 6/7 and then those logs referenced SSL requirements.
I updated Kodi on FireTV with apk direct from Kodi and library stopped working.
So seems the issue stems from base newer base Kodi updates.
Use DHCP reservations versus static IP to avoid IP conflict. reboot everything again to clear arp table.
Depending on the receiver it might not support hdr passthrough.
my onkyo supports 4k/hdr passthrough but no ALLM 1440p
RPI5 on nightlies HDR works flawless to my LG C3
Only issue is Dolby Vision comes out purple/green due to lack of license or support I guess.
The official Kodi build installed on my LG TV does Dolby Vision but since my receiver is only ARC will only pass Dolby Digital/+
Running my library on MariaDB 10 on a QNAP
Updated from RPI5 13 5/30 nightly to 6/7 and lost access to the library.
Logs show the updated connector is FORCING ssl/tls requirements.
Is there a way to bypass ssl to access my library?
Reverting back to 5/30 nightly works so thinking it's the recent connector update.
I had this issue as well. Once Kodi is in safe mode SSH in and remove the WATCHDOG add on.
Doesn't seem its updated to work on latest Kodi
To add it looks like if I ssh in it says the Lirc is loaded.
Is there something I need to do to enable in LE11? On log into the android side?
Wasn’t sure if this should go in the Allwinner sub or not.
With my RPi3 I used Bluetooth through the harmony hub to control kodi.
With the Orange Pi 3 LTS I see it has IR.
In the harmony setup everytime I add kodi or media center it adds then wants me to do the Bluetooth setup for kodi.
Is there a method or step to add kodi and control via the orange pi built in IR?
The setup works great and I’m using the kodi app control over Wi-Fi for now but would be great to have it connected using the IR.
