Hello LibreElec!I just installed LibreElec from scratch. And when I try to open up skin, to download new skin. The dialog dissapear.
Interface settings -> Skin -> Skin dialog opens -> Get more ... = The dialog box dissapearVersion LibreELEC 8.0.1
My device is Raspberry PI V2

Try using the other route: addons > install from repository > kodi (or whichever) repo > look and feel > skin > bish bash bosh.
Not sure that's much different to buying a box with kodi android on tbh. They're all sold for profit.
If Venztech have their own build specific to that box then obviously they're the place to get support from, but I can't see why sticking one of kszaq's on it would be an issue in support terms.

It looks like a ripped off LibreELEC OS and sold for profit.
Go and ask the seller what they suggest you do.
A quick google suggests it's a pretty standard S905x box, normally sold with android marshmallow. What am I missing?
I am only interested in a voice control with the remote control when using Kodi over LibreELEC. What I don't know is if the Kodi v17.x on LibreELEC does has this KoRE addon. If so, then I am all set. If not, how can I include this addon to my LibreELEC?
Kore or yatse will both work with libreelec. They're not addons, they are android apps - there's nothing to install on libreelec, just make sure you've enabled access in settings > services.
It can be done - I do it - but I'd agree about the amount of work involved.
It means going through everything in userdata making sure all paths are either network or special rather than local. Also binary addons can't be copied.
Hi.I'm a bit of a klutz when it comes to IR commands.
Using the first post in the thread I now have my Harmony controlling my S905X box nicely. It even turns off Kodi.
I am having trouble turning on the device with the Harmony. I spoke to the manufacturer and they gave me 0x4d as the remote power button IR code. How do I incorporate that into the remote.conf ? I've had no luck so far.

Do you have the original remote?
Does that turn the box on?
If that's 'yes' and 'yes' it's just a case of using the Harmony's learning function. Learn the power button on your original remote as 'power on' for the pivos xios ds in your Harmony device settings.

Couldn't mount the drive manually.BUT as Klojum in the first posting said, the drive was in hibernation mode.
Windows 10 never shuts down completely. (you have to deactivate the fast boot option).
After shutting down and switching back to my living room pc, everything works fine!

If you'd used the words 'dual boot' it would have triggered my memory.
I use a microserver - dual boot windows 10 / libreelec. I realized that all drives would mount if I rebooted from windows into libreelec, but not if I powered down from windows then restarted in LE.
It must have been like that for more than 6 months, never noticed. Anyway it was the same issue.
I'm hoping that after the migration I'll still have Xonfluence. From what I see it will run on Krypton, so holding thumbs.
Switch to confluence before you run the upgrade. Otherwise xonfluence will be disabled due to the version being incompatible with krypton - only a nuisance but an avoidable one.
If you're in confluence then on booting to krypton the skin will change to estuary, Helly's repo will update , xonfluence will update and you can switch back to it.
The LE 8 backup function is located at Settings->LibreElec->SystemSent from my GT-P3113 using Tapatalk
That's where it is in Estuary, because Estuary's the default LE skin. It's not there in confluence (or probably any other skin) - you have to add a custom menu item or favourite, or go through programs > libreelec.
Hi, Estuary skin run well enough, on my Rpi 2 with LE 8, don't lag, but i prefer Confluenze skin, its lighter, but, after update to LE 8, i cannot find anymore some menus, like backup.On Estuary skin, i find backup menu in Librelec -> System.

Last time I was in your position I just wrote the .img to a usb stick and took the files from that. Not very elegant, but it works.
From the Kodi repo - Look and feel / skins.
Try going through Addons > Install from repository > kodi repo etc
Or if they're not there look in the skin section of the main kodi forum, find the sub-forum, read.

Just an update, the problem I had appears to be related to the Amber skin I was using. The stop button worked fine using the Aeon not skin. I did try turning on logging but going through the results for some reason didn't seem to bring up any of the ID/codes mentioned in the first page.Is there a known ID/code for bringing up the DVD menu during playback?

If a joke ICE notice with a Rick Roll link on the page source gets put on kodi.tv website on April 1 then it's clearly a prank by Team Kodi. They do something every year but this is the first time they have broken the support forum, download links, add-on repos etc. I don't know why you are confused (or pretending to be confused) by this.It's a joke, which is fine, but pulling everything offline isn't necessary.
