Build 1002 is last working for me with tvh and HTS. In later builds pvr manager doesn't start. Maybe because of tvh crash.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I also tried this build, I'm getting the following error:

I'm using rpi3 with technotrend s2-4600 dvb card.

Very frustrating, no improvement since more than half a year.

Unfortunately I have no such Linux skills.

This udev rule in storage\.config\udev.rules.d works for me:

SUBSYSTEM=="input", ATTRS{name}=="GEN GAME", KERNEL=="event*", 
MODE="0666", ENV{ID_INPUT_JOYSTICK}="1"

I tried to map the controller, but the same inputs which work in android aren't recognised in le.

Could something like this help?

I have a bluetooth gamepad which works very well in Kodi on Android.

Is there a chance I get this gamepad working in libreelec with rpi3?

I'm able to pair the controller but If I want to configure the controller in le no inputs are recognized.

Attached is the buttonmaps xml of android.

Are further logs required?

Unfortunately I see no improvement.

Is this commit also in latest Milhouse testing builds with kernel 4.13?

I tested today and I have no improvement.

I'm using latest tvheadend builds from milhouse.libreelec.tv

If I enable debug log in addon settings no debug.txt can be found in the specified log path /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.tvheadend42/debug.txt.

Could anyone verify this?

I'm also experiencing continuity counter errors with my technotrend s2-4600 usb tv card on my pi3 on latest Milhouse build. Livetv is ok, only recording has issues, even when kodi is stopped (systemctl stop kodi).

Only frontend needs codec if you want hardware decoding otherwise software decoding is used. I use frontend and backend on my pi2 with no issues.
