I don't know exactly what you mean.
The mentioned tutorial won't work in le right?
As you can see webgrab+ creates guide.xml, but tvh epg grab /storage/.kodi/addons/service.tvheadend42/bin/tv_grab_file gives no output. Even if I start /storage/.kodi/addons/service.tvheadend42/bin/tv_grab_file with ssh I get no output.
Could you please have a look at this post: Tvheadend nightly builds for LE
I can't get webgrab to work with tvh.
I tried to get webgrab+plus to work with tvh. no success so far.
web grab plus download works (only one channel for testing purpose)
guide.xml is generated http://ix.io/1iv5
but tvh doesn't grab any shows: http://ix.io/1iv9
tvh settings: http://ix.io/1iva
guide.xml is in the right directory /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.webgrabplus/guide.xml
What I'm doing wrong?
there are no builds in folder 4.3-1292!
webif is back with build 1273, thanks!
same here webif with build 1272 is blank.
latest builds can't be downloaded!
This tuner works for me too on rpi3.
I would be also interested in using comskip with hardware decoding on rpi.
Could you please support mchehab here to get to the ground of the issue?
Please provide usb dump from unpatched kernel. This would help the kernel dev see where's the problem.
Could you try the build mentioned in post #230?
It would also be of great help if you could do an usb dump on your x86_64 machine and report your findings to the mentioned mailing list.
You can get it with wireshark/tshark or tcpdump. See:
https://technolinchpin.wordpress.com/2015/10/23/usb-bus-sniffers-for-linux-system/
https://wiki.wireshark.org/CaptureSetup/USB
smp maybe you could also provide usb dump with non working 4.9/4.10 kernel (without revert and without patch)?
I reported the regression upstream Aw: Re: dvb usb issues since kernel 4.9 — Linux USB
Could you please follow/join the conversation and maybe provide further information ([email protected])?
Alan Stern had the following questions:
It would be good to know what hardware was involved on the x86 system
and to have some timing data. Can we see the output from lsusb and
usbmon, running on a vanilla kernel that gets plenty of video glitches?
Overall, this may be a very difficult problem to solve. The
4cd13c21b207 commit was intended to improve throughput at the cost of
increased latency. But then what do you do when the latency becomes
too high for the video subsystem to handle?
